    of workers Some events may be pre entry only information about such events will be listed on the Schedules Results section of this website Payment must accompany all pre entries If you submit an entry by mail fax or email a check or credit card information must be included You may also enter online using SeriesTracker which saves time and reduces fees by at least 10 percent Entry forms as well as information on dates locations entry fees pre entry deadlines and any event specific details are on the drop down menu below the Schedules Results button on the navigation bar at the top of this page just click on the desired discipline Required Transponder AHRMA uses MYLAPS transponders for timing and scoring for more specific information click here This unit is required and is available for purchase from www mylaps com or for rent from AHRMA To rent a transponder please use this form Refund policy Refunds will be issued only to pre entered riders who have filed a Refund Credit Request Form with the AHRMA National office A refund form may be obtained from the office or downloaded here The form may be filed by mail email fax or the office may be telephoned with the relevant information A rider contacting the AHRMA office up through the day of the event will be refunded the full amount less a 5 administrative charge A rider filing for refund not more than 14 days after the event will be refunded 50 percent of the total entry After that time the entry fee will be deposited into the Benevolent Fund This policy applies to all National events unless noted otherwise on the entry form See Handbook section 4 7 Optional Rider Accident Medical Plan AHRMA requires that every participant carry personal health insurance it is wise to consult your individual carrier for coverage details Jones Birdsong Insurance offers AHRMA members an affordable Rider Accident Medical Plan which under competition situations may offer better coverage than a person s general health insurance To purchase an annual plan call 866 998 3864 or download an application form here You are entitled to the benefits described in this enrollment form if you have enrolled for this insurance and paid the required premium Benevolent Fund Donations to the AHRMA Benevolent Fund may be made by mailing a check to 309 Buffalo Run Goodlettsville TN 37072 by calling the National office at 615 420 6435 with credit card details or by PayPal to paypal ahrma org Injured riders who desire monetary aid from AHRMA s Benevolent Fund are invited to complete the application form and submit it for consideration Friends or associates of the rider may submit the request on his or her behalf Benevolent Fund application Eligibility Request form Our Handbook has excellent descriptions and lists which should help you determine the class in which your machine can compete In the event that the class designation is not clear please contact a member of the

    motocross observed trials dirt track and concours events to the competition options available for vintage riders Among these organizations were the California Vintage Racing Group and in the southeast the Historic Motorcycle Racing Association By 1986 it was clear that a National organization would be necessary to administer this burgeoning sport AHRMA was originally formed as a privately held business corporation Other groups were brought together under one banner and one set of rules and in 1989 AHRMA was reorganized into the member owned association of today Classic Off Road Motorcycles Realizing that the definition of classic varies from one generation of enthusiasts to the next AHRMA has added classes for long travel motocross machines from the late 1970s to the mid 80s these post vintage motocross and cross country classes have been incorporated into many of AHRMA s regional series and also have their own National circuit Sound of Singles Battle of Twins In an effort to bring single cylinder roadracing to the US and to rejuvenate twins racing in 1993 AHRMA began offering Sound of Singles and Battle of Twins classes with a full National series in 1994 Bolstered by the presence of world class riders on machines such as the exotic Britten V 1000 AHRMA s Daytona SoS BoT events have attracted worldwide attention In 1995 the organization began offering the almost anything goes Sound of Thunder for singles twins and triples the Spring race at Daytona was the opening round of the world Sound of Thunder series for several years Including these alternative innovative modern bikes with the vintage program has met with widespread acceptance and allows AHRMA to host its own spectacular events For Our Members AHRMA members enjoy a professionally edited journal Vintage Views 10 times each year an annual racing Handbook rulebook access
