    and Technology Policy a Policy Fellowship in the Humanities Education and the Arts and a Policy Fellowship in Global Security and International Affairs Visiting Scholars Program The Visiting Scholars Program provides residential fellowships for junior faculty members and postdoctoral scholars in the humanities and social sciences Hellman Fellowship in Science and Technology Policy The Hellman Fellowship in Science and Technology Policy provides an opportunity for an early career professional with training in science or engineering to learn about a career in public policy and administration Policy Fellowship in the Humanities Education and the Arts As part of the Initiative for Humanities Education and the Arts the American Academy of Arts and Sciences is pleased to announce the establishment of a Policy Fellowship in the Humanities and Education for an early career professional with experience or training in higher education who is interested in transitioning to a career in public policy and administration While in residence the Fellow will work with senior scholars and policy experts on critical national and international issues related to humanistic and social scientific research the strength of artistic and cultural institutions and the role of education in a well functioning democracy Policy Fellowship in Global Security and International Affairs The Policy Fellowship in Global Security and International Affairs is a fellowship for an early career professional with experience or training in international relations public policy and development While in residence the Fellow will work with senior scholars and policy experts on critical international issues related to the governance of nuclear weapons the formulation of strategies to contain security threats from failed and fragile states the establishment of regional dialogues on security among others Current and Past Visiting Scholars 2015 2016 Visiting Scholars 2014 2015 Visiting Scholars 2013 2014 Visiting Scholars 2012 2013 Visiting Scholars 2011 2012
