    Body Introduction to Tibetan Language Colloquial and Literary 3 Week Course This is a three week course commencing Monday 14 Jan Friday 1st Feb 2013 The daily schedule is as follows Class 1 9 30am 11 00am Class 2 11 30am 12 30pm Workshop 2 00pm 3 30pm Ruth Gamble completes her PhD in Tibetan Literature and Buddhism at ANU in 2012 She has also taught Tibetan at ANU and at Buddhist Centres in Australia as well and working as an interpreter in Australia and India Lhakpa Drolma grew up in Lhasa where she later worked at the National Publishing House she will be assisting the class as a tutor and helping them work on their pronunciation Tenzin Ringpotsang has a Lopon Degree Masters Degree equivalent from Sakya College in Dehra Dun India He has also taught Tibetan in India and Australia worked extensively as an interpreter and is a PhD candidate at ANU He will also be acting as an advisor and tutor for the course Online support for continued study will also be provided for a full semester after the course is conducted Accommodation Accommodation can be a problem in Canberra If you are coming from out of town and are having trouble finding somewhere to stay please let the coordinators know as we garnered some experience in these matters last year Enrolment Payment Options There are several ways to enrol in this course and some of them are quite complicated so please do not hesitate to write and ask us questions regarding any of the following options Students can enrol in the course in one of two ways This course can be taken as an elective on an already undertaken undergraduate or postgraduate degree If you are an ANU student this simply means enrolling If you are
