    Other Spiritual Care Projects For Members Member Listing Member Benefits Member Service Accreditation Joining The Member Network Getting Involved Volunteer Positions Volunteer Application Form Become a Friend Update My Details About What We Do Videos Publications Annual Reports Newsletters Contact search NewsPage Search form Search You are here Home Member Network Coordinator 18 August 2012 5 13pm admin1 Member Network Coordinator Category Small stipend Background Our membership has more than doubled in the last 5 years to more than 100 Buddhist temples and societies of all traditions and cultures The Member Network is the range of relationships that connect the Buddhist Council of NSW with its diverse and growing member base Duties Contacting members by phone and email Sending out information to members Arranging visits for Board directors to members Updating the member database Supporting the Member Service Coordinator Who Would Support You Others in the team include Community Contacts the Admin team board members general office volunteers and Member Service Team providing free professional advice to members Time Commitment As a part time role you should expect to commit one day per week Agreement to a renewable employment contract of six to 12 months is expected Your Skills Ability to work with the committees and boards of temples and societies within the Buddhist Community Willingness to communicate with the full diversity of cultures and traditions in the Buddhist community Your Fulfilment The Member Network Coordinator is a paid position and will lead a small team of volunteers from our office in St Leonards The Member Network Team will contact each member organisation at least once each year to ensure that our records are up to date and that the member organisation is receiving the information advice and support they require When necessary the Member Network Team will send out
