    year term on CASE s national Commission on Philanthropy and serves on the CASE District VII Board of Directors chairing the 2015 District VII conference Treasurer Lori A Redfearn Assistant Vice Chancellor Advancement Services California State University Office of the Chancellor Calif Lori A Redfearn is assistant vice chancellor for advancement services for the California State University CSU Office of the Chancellor She also serves as vice president and chief operating officer for the CSU system s institutionally related foundation managing 25 million in assets As assistant vice chancellor Redfearn provides strategic leadership for 23 CSU universities by encouraging system wide best practices performance benchmarking and accountability standards She oversees the analysis of institutional advancement data coordinates training and program resources and develops policies and procedures Redfearn began service on the CASE District VII Board of Directors in 2011 She previously served on the national task force developing the CASE Advancement Investment Metrics Study She cochaired the chief advancement officers session for the 2008 CASE District VII conference and chaired a special track for deans at the 2006 CASE District VII conference Secretary Armin Afsahi Associate Vice Chancellor for Alumni and Community Engagement Executive Director of the UCSD Alumni Association University of California San Diego Calif Armin Afsahi is UC San Diego s associate vice chancellor for alumni and community engagement In this capacity he oversees alumni relations annual giving and regional advancement donor development programs and undergraduate scholarship fundraising programs marketing and digital outreach publication of the Triton magazine campus wide corporate relations and industry engagement and the student career and professional development center Afsahi also leads the UCSD Alumni Association and its board of directors A proud UC San Diego alumnus from Revelle College Afsahi is a seasoned advancement executive with more than 20 years of public and private sector experience in institutional advancement and strategic management Afsahi s prior positions include serving in executive leadership roles in private ventures and on the senior advancement teams at both UC San Diego and Georgetown University Afsahi s public and professional service includes service on the Council of Alumni Association Executives Board of Directors CASE District VII Board of Directors and Marine Oceanic Sustainability Foundation Board of Directors he has also been a partner with San Diego Social Venture Partners CASE DISTRICT VII TREASURER S REPORT Fiscal Year 2014 Total Assets Cash 157 011 16 Investments 279 059 36 Revenue 38 520 00 Expenses 13 234 21 Investment Income 19 873 14 Net Revenue 45 158 93 Note As 2014 is a nonconference year in District VII revenues and expenses are comparatively modest Figures will increase with activity associated with the next district conference in March 2015 Figures current as of 3 31 14 CASE DISTRICT VII ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2013 14 Your CASE District VII Board of Directors has been hard at work this past year providing professional development opportunities for our members through a series of one day workshops More than 400 people attended six workshops in Northern
