  • s Headache On April 21st Cheltenham School District teacher Cindy Goldberg launched her first children s book Penelope s Headache Tattle or Tell The childrens book was introduced to a crowd of more than one hundred as Cindy Goldberg signed copies for students families and community members past and present Mrs Goldberg donated part of her royalties to the Cheltenham School District Foundation Joe Kircher Naming Rights This foundation funds classroom initiatives that directly benefit children In addition to hearing Penelope s Headache Tattle or Tell the evening was filled with entertainment treats an d fun for all Mrs Jenny Hutton with her CHS singers and dancers entertained along with Mr John Moran s EP Thunder Bucket Band There were opportunities to win baskets and lots of hands on activities for the amusement of children including a Mindfulness area where teacher Connie Meizinger taught strategies to help children decide what to do when tempted with tattling The Penelope s Headache Tattle or Tell launch raised over 900 for the Cheltenham School District Foundation Penelope s Headache Tattle or Tell is available through Amazon com and all online booksellers Mrs Goldberg has just completed her second children s book GET IN

  • at Elkins Park School had students competing to figure out how to make 24 from a given set of numbers After earning points during two open rounds the top nine scorers entered a semifinal round with even more difficult problems Students with the best scores in this round competed in a final round for medals Three medalists and an alternate in each division will now advance to the county competition
