    Miyagi e Iwate nas duas usinas existentes na cidade Apelamos para que parem com futuras incinerações de detritos uma vez que nem o transporte de materiais altamente radioactivos nem a sua incineração são seguros nem se assemelham a uma política pública Espalhar a radioactividade em áreas limpas é perigoso Se tais detritos forem incinerados as partículas radioactivas altamente perigosas para a saúde serão emitidas para a atmosfera global do planeta Terra Outras partículas radioactivas ficarão nas cinzas da inceneração Mesmo que as cinzas que ficam no incinerador sejam apenas utilizadas para aterro o cesio radioactivo presente no solo irá eventualmente ser transportado para os oceanos e dissolvido nas suas águas uma vez que o césio é solúvel Esse mesmo césio é igualmente transportado por alguma planta ou animal através do vento ou dos alimentos para os pulmões e para a boca de alguém Após o desastre de Fukushima Dai ichi as normas do governo japonês foram alteradas de modo a permitir que as pessoas possam estar expostas a níveis de radioactividade muito maiores do que foi considerado seguro antes do desastre Antes os resíduos industriais com concentração de césio radioactivo de 100 becquerel por quilo Bq kg e superior tinham de ser cuidadosamente armazenados e manuseados conforme resíduos radioactivos apenas em instalações apropriadas Agora se a concentração radioactiva de césio for inferior ou igual a 8000 Bq kg os detritos podem ser utilizados para aterro como resíduos normais Não existem dados científicos de saúde que justifiquem este aumento de 80 vezes na radiação permitida Um relatório da AIEA de Outubro 2011 sobre as descobertas de resíduos radioactivos afirma Grandes volumes de material contaminado serão gerados a partir de actividades massivas de limpeza em áreas urbanas florestais agrícolas e áreas aquáticas que estão afectados principalmente pelas contaminações radioactivas de césio O material incluirá solo material orgânico veículos edifícios cascalho líquidos aquosos árvores e tocos contaminados com Cs 134 e Cs 137 O teor em radioactividade dos materiais contaminados varia de poucas a dezenas de milhares de Bq kg É praticamente impossível medir com precisão a concentração de césio radioactivo em cascalho para ser transportado para outras partes do Japão incluindo Kitakyushu Não devemos nunca deixar um legado tão perigoso e duradouro para a nossa descendência Devemos parar a disseminação da contaminação radioactiva e preservar a terra ar e água de Kyushu Podemos ajudar as pessoas que mais directamente sofreram com este terrível desastre a recuperar no ambiente limpo de Kyushu Assim apelamos para o Perfeito de Kitakyushu Kenji KITAHASHI para 1 Por favor pare imediatamente de aceitar e incinerar os resíduos relacionados com o desastre pois a segurança não pode ser assegurada 2 Por favor apoie e reforce as medidas para ajudar o povo de Tohoku áreas próximas a Fukushima Dai ichi com contaminação radioactiva elevada tais como admissão contínua de evacuados para descanso e recuperação Post navigation Older posts Newer posts Top Posts Pages 2014 April Hibakusha Stories Global Health and Environment in the Post 2015 Agenda Lessons from the
