    CMR Author Guideline Manuscript Submission Editorial board Published Issues NEW USER LOST PASSWORD Home Vol 11 No 3 2015 Ceric An Alternative Model of The ICT Value Creation Process Based on Cross Impact Analysis Arnela Ceric Abstract The IT literature has identified a number ofseveral factors influencing business outcomes also known as ICT Information Communication Technology value In order to make these factors relevant for IT practitioners it is important to classify them in a meaningful and relevant manner This was done using a systems theory method cross impact analysis in analysing the ICT value creation process in three medium sized organisations This process is conceptualised as a system composed of 23 interacting factors that interact with one another The results of the cross impact analysis demonstrate that factors have a different functional position in each of the three ICT value creation systems and hence there are different implications for managing them Based on the comparison of results among the three organisations an alternative model of the ICT value creation process is proposed The model offers further insights into the ICT value creation process that are particularly relevant for IT practitioners and IT researchers Keywords ICT Value Factors Influencing ICT

    LOST PASSWORD Home Vol 3 No 2 2007 Perera An Analysis of the Controlling Function of National Culture in Product Choice Preferences of Japanese Consumers L Chamila Roshani Perera Chandana Rathnasiri Hewege Abstract ABSTRACT The aim of this paper is to analyse the controlling function of national culture in regulating product choice behaviour of consumers Japanese consumers showed signs of a high culture enabling remarkable economic achievements during 70 s and 80 s Nationalistic feeling coming from this high culture initially favoured indigenous products creating a natural control of the influx of foreign products to the country However with the dilution of indigenous nature of culture product preferences have begun to incline towards western products in general with marked preference toward American products The Study investigates the controlling function of national culture on consumer product preferences relating to local products and products of western origin The paper reviews socio economic developments that cause changes in product choice behaviour and the process of western influence on the Japanese culture Methodology used in the study is qualitative and it includes case analysis of individuals purchase preferences In depth interviews were conducted to unearth dynamics caused by cultural change and control function of
