    dog named Millie and a cat named Alley who rules the entire family Jack Connolly Treasurer Jack has lived in the Grand Valley for over 35 years He is the President of Connolly Financial Group holds an MBA and is a Certified Financial Planner Jack is married to Anne Hollingsworth Connolly they raised four children and the entire family loves the Colorado National Monument Jack has served on numerous boards in our community over the years including two terms as a member of the District 51 Board of Education and six years on the Hilltop Health Services Corporation Board of Directors Jack enjoys golf skiing and following Formula 1 automobile racing Sharon Currie Mills Member Sharon is a former Senior Vice President with Discovery Communications She received her B in Journalism from Metropolitan State College in Denver and M A in Corporate Communications from Fairfield University Fairfield Connecticut Prior to joining Discovery she owned her own marketing consulting business working with clients including The Walt Disney Company Sharon was also an Adjunct Professor at The University of Cincinnati s School of Communication and currently teaches at Colorado Mesa University Sharon and her husband Paul retired to the Grand Valley in 2011 They love the Monument and are active in hiking skiing traveling and enjoy the unique lifestyle of Western Colorado Seth Anderson Member Seth is the co creator and designer of Loki Outerwear based out of Grand Junction and sold all over the world His interests range from writing he was an outdoor columnist for the Grand Junction Free Press to climbing and painting Seth is passionate about the Colorado National Monument and you may find him climbing Independence Monument in his free time He has climbed many mountains in the U S including a summit of 20 320 Denali Seth attended school in Grand Junction and is a husband and father Terri Chappell Member Terri Chappell is a journalist mom horse lover and a Coloradoan who grew up in Grand Junction and returned to the valley with her family five years ago Chappell enjoyed a successful media career in Dallas and Austin Texas where she was an Emmy award winning journalist and television news anchor She also worked as reporter and show host on the Travel Channel Terri Chappell is a huge supporter of Colorado National Monument and the founder of Grand Valley Region Citizens for a National Park Jim Anker Member Jim Anker recently made Grand Junction his second home after a career in the publishing business in New York City and Bolton Massachusetts He also served in community government for 23 years Anker brings a special knowledge of the National Park Service through his work as a seasonal law enforcement Ranger in Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Statue of Liberty National Monument Brian Hollingsworth Member Brian is a CPA and senior auditor with Dalby Wendland Co P C He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Masters in accounting from the University

    long roots in the Grand Valley before settling here in 1985 Denise led a mobile life residing in places as near as Denver and as far as the United Kingdom where she lived for eleven years and studied English history She holds a Bachelor s degree in English and her passions include history and writing Denise and her husband Steve live in Fruita in a house filled with books and antiques Denise has a married daughter Stephanie a granddaughter and is anticipating a new grandchild She serves on the Fruita Historic Preservation Board the Fruita Tourism Advisory Council and the Fruita Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Denise and her husband are co authors of two books about Fruita s history Cherry Odelberg Bookstore and Membership Manager Cherry is a writer and musician with a business degree in organizational management She first came to Colorado National Monument Visitor Center for the 2012 season as cashier and membership clerk with previous retail sales experience in specialty gift shops On her days off Cherry enjoys hiking the varied trails of Colorado National Monument and writing about her experiences Stay In Touch Search About CNMA Meet the Board Meet our Staff Rim Rock
