  • New Hampshire Audubon Annual Awards | Conservation New Hampshire

  • The State Parks Need Your Help! | Conservation New Hampshire
    have to be covered by revenue the parks earned Yet this has been a struggle Many if not all of the state s beautiful parks are in dire need of additional funding The Division of Parks and Recreation recently submitted a capital improvement request for some much needed repairs The proposed upgrades are for parks across New Hampshire and will help in rejuvenating the park system The proposal can be seen at the State Park s website at http www nhstateparks org uploads pdf 101310 CapitalImporvementRequest 3 pdf While there is a hundred million dollars available the Parks Department has only requested 12 million for immediate use While former Parks Director Ted Austin has stated that there is not one park in the state that does not need work the latest capital request is a plea to fulfill the park s basic requirements The State Parks are a critical aspect of New Hampshire The parks are a large source of tourism to the state and offer financial gains for their local communities in addition to being enjoyed by all of New Hampshire s citizens In order to continue receiving the benefits from their natural beauty it is critical that New

  • Weeks Act Lecture Series | Conservation New Hampshire
