    Annual Presidents Day Photos 8th Annual Un Gala Photos Philadelphia Boston Volunteer Photos Teen Leadership Corps Class of 2014 Photo Album Chicago Home Give Back with an Outfit Pack Winter is incredibly challenging for many families we serve and most of the requests Cradles to Crayons will receive include an order for an Outfit Pack a week s worth of matched outfits new socks underwear and pajamas The Give Back with an Outfit Pack program lets you and your family friends and colleagues go shopping for desperately needed winter layers for children in need How does it work Below are some examples of Outfit Packs that children of certain ages would need We provide Outfit Packs for children age 0 12 years old so packs for any age in between is needed Boy Age 5 Size 6 2 pairs of pants 4 shirts 1 sweater or sweatshirt 1 pair of pajamas 1 package of size M socks 1 package of underwear size 6 Winter hat and gloves Optional Belt Girl Age 2 Size 3T 2 pairs of pants 4 shirts 1 sweater or sweatshirt 1 pair of pajamas 1 package of size S socks 1 package of underwear size 3T Optional Accessories We need 50 Outfit Packs to start off our Giving Factory here in Chicago Get everyone involved this giving season and directly support the children in our community Shop with your children and teach them the value of philanthropy and giving back Let them pick out the outfits Or add the extra items to your shopping cart next time you go shopping for your own children Host a seasonal party and ask guests to bring items to pack an Outfit Pack or 2 Challenge your coworkers to see who can create the cutest outfits or who can create

    Meeting Download the flier WHAT Cradles to Crayons The Goldenberg Group and the People Helping People Foundation are hosting the 2nd Annual Metroplex May Day Collection a three day donation collection at the Metroplex shopping center to collect essential everyday items for children in homeless and low income situations ages 0 12 in the Greater Philadelphia region Volunteers from the three organizations will be on hand to collect donations of new and gently used children s clothing shoes books toys baby equipment and school supplies WHEN Friday May 15 10 00 am 7 00 pm Saturday May 16 10 00 am 7 00 pm Sunday May 17 10 00 am 1 00 pm On Saturday May 16 donors can enjoy family friendly and kids activities including music lessons from Guitar Center birdhouse making provided by Lowe s Home Improvement reading activities provided by Barnes Noble a visit from the Plymouth Fire Company and book signings by authors Jessica Dimuzio and Ray Didinger WHERE The Metroplex Shopping Center 2200 Chemical Rd Plymouth Meeting PA 19462 Donations will be collected in the ULTA parking lot We are so excited to host our second Metroplex May Day Collection with The Goldenberg Group and the People Helping People Foundation said Cradles to Crayons Executive Director Michal Smith Collections like this where corporate partners and the community come together to donate the children s items they can no longer use are crucial in our effort to help children in need throughout Greater Philadelphia with the everyday essentials they need to thrive We rely on the grassroots community and corporate collections to help us realize our goal of serving close to 60 000 children this year Ellen Lissy Goldenberg Director of Civic Engagement for The Goldenberg Group says the organization is committed to supporting organizations throughout the region whose service is critical to creating stronger communities That s why we ve partnered with Cradles to Crayons for so many years They make a real difference to children living in low income and homeless situations said Rosenberg Through People Helping People we bring the full strength and resources of The Goldenberg Group to every one of our community partnerships We knocked it out of the park at last year s Metroplex May Day Collection and are planning to double the collection this weekend About Cradles to Crayons Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12 living in homeless or low income situations with the essential items they need to thrive at home at school and at play We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need Cradles to Crayons collects new and gently used children s items through grassroots community drives and corporate donations Donations are then sorted and checked by volunteers before being packed into custom packages for individual children which are provided to children in need in the Greater Philadelphia region through a collaborative network of human service agencies and school partners For other

    Crayons Gear Up for Winter initiative BNY Mellon a global leader in investment management and investment services provided Operation Warm with a 50 000 grant to purchase coats for Cradles to Crayons and supplemented its donation with more than 200 new coats that its New England employees collected during a regional coat drive Operation Warm a nonprofit organization dedicated to countering the lack of adequate winter clothing for children in poverty frequently collaborates with organizations like Cradles to Crayons utilizing the financial support of companies like BNY Mellon Our philanthropic focus is on helping people by concentrating on the provision of basic needs and we re committed to helping our community partners make sure their populations stay connected to critical programs and services said Briana Curran Vice President Charitable Giving BNY Mellon Given that we also have an emphasis on helping vulnerable youth it was particularly gratifying to partner with Cradles to Crayons and Operation Warm to help local children prepare for winter Cradles to Crayons continues to be a favorite volunteer destination for our employees who regularly volunteer at Giving Factory events and the annual Backpack a Thon added Curran It s a great organization doing important work and we re happy to support their Gear Up for Winter initiative BNY Mellon is a long time partner of Cradles to Crayons having donated over 100 000 since 2009 BNY Mellon and Operation Warm are leading by example by joining together to support Gear up for Winter which will provide more than 18 000 Massachusetts children with winter essentials including coats said Sharon Reilly Executive Director for Cradles to Crayons The total coat collection yielding nearly 3 000 will help us to reach our goal to fulfill the 18 000 requests for winter coats expected this season Operation Warm Inc
