    investment of over 300 million He was responsible for field operations through which water and sewer service is provided to CWW Customers through 2 000 miles of pipe He has been involved in the following major capital projects at CWW were the Chattahoochee Riverwalk the 95 million Combined Sewer Overflow CSO program construction of Oxbow Meadows Ft Benning Water and Wastewater Interconnections and the new Ft Benning Water Treatment Facility He has played a key role in developing negotiating and managing the 50 year Water and Wastewater Privatization Contract with Ft Benning Georgia Mr Davis is an active participant in regional water planning He is a member of the State of Georgia Middle Chattahoochee Regional Water Planning Council the Apalachicola Chattahoochee Flint Stakeholders ACFS and the Middle Chattahoochee Water Coalition MCWC Through all of the organizations Mr Davis strives to protect the water supply and quality for Columbus by developing a sustainable water management plan Mr Davis graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering BCE degree in 1985 and became a licensed Professional Engineer PE in 1993 He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resources from the University of Georgia in 1979 Mr Davis

    since 1992 where he started as a Project Engineer Billy has advanced from Project Engineer to Manager of System Services to Chief Engineer to VP of Engineering to Senior Vice President of Engineering Field Services and Communications and then to his current position as Executive Vice President In these roles Billy s responsibilities ranged from detailed design construction administration management of maintenance of the Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Systems and management of the Capital Improvement Program CIP Billy was an integral team member in a number of major CWW initiatives including Re engineering of the Operations Division allowing for a maintenance group to perform predictive and preventative maintenance He facilitated the development of a CIP evaluation process that produced an ongoing Capital Improvement Program and the development of an Asset Management Program for minimizing asset life cycle cost while meeting service requirements Billy is a 1989 Graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree Billy is a Georgia Registered Professional Engineer 1994 He is involved in a number of industry organizations including Water Environment Federation WEF Georgia Association of Water Professionals GAWP American Water Works Association AWWA and National Society of Professional Engineers

    Customer and Financial Service Joey Murphy has been with the Columbus Water Works since 1994 where he started as an Electrical Technician Joey has advanced through several positions within the Columbus Water Works including Combined Sewer Technician Planning and Scheduling Manager Assistant Superintendent and Manager of System Services He currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of Water Commissioners and a Senior Vice President and is responsible for managing the 80 plus employees who make up the Division Asset Management Finance Customer Service Meter Maintenance Information Services Security and Environmental Services Joey is responsible for all financial investments monitoring of budget and other related financial programs including bond issuance and grant monitoring Joey is a graduate of Chattahoochee Valley Community College AA Liberal Arts and Troy University where he received his Bachelor and Masters of Business Administration degrees Joey is a Certified Public Finance Officer and licensed Distribution and Collection System Operator in the State of Georgia Joey is an active member of several state and national trade organizations including the Georgia Association of Water Professionals GAWP Government Finance Officers Association GFOA American Water Works Association AWWA and Water Environment Federation WEF CALL BEFORE YOU DIG Whether you are
