    retired attorney for the federal government Bob now spends his time volunteering for marine issues He has long been associated with The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito not only as a crew and stranding volunteer but as a Director emeritus and is the policy liaison for TMMC He is the former Board President and now Treasurer of the Farallones Marine Sanctuary Association where he also volunteers as part of the Beach Watch program He recently served as a stakeholder in the California Marine Life Protection Act process for establishing a network of marine protected areas in North Central California He is also a fomer Director of Polar Bear International Bob lives in Tiburon CA Dennis DeDominico Secretary Dennis the owner of Rock Wren Winery and a former Chairman of the Board of Directors at The Marine Mammal Center 2000 2006 He has significant volunteer leadership experience having served on numerous Boards of Directors for arts and theater organizations in Berkeley CA Dennis is the former General Manager at Ghirardelli Chocolate Company for 12 years and is an attorney Jeff Loomans Jeff is tech entrepreneur venture capitalist and cartoonist He was elected to the FMSA Board of Directors in September 2013 and is involved in the effort to restore Bolinas Lagoon to its natural state among other conservation efforts Jeff is married has a daughter and lives in San Francisco Terrance Gosliner PhD Terry is Senior Curator and Dean of Science and Research Collections Harry W and Diana V Hind Chair Invertebrate Zoology and Geology at California Academy of Sciences Dr Gosliner is also a leading researcher in the evolutionary history of nudibranchs the colorful group also known as sea slugs and has published more than 150 scientific papers and five books in his career DJ O Neil D J is the founder and CEO of Hub Strategy Communication an award winning marketing firm At Hub D J oversees the brand and creative development efforts for all clients including Google Nike and the Oakland A s He is married and the father of two girls and his interests include surfing fly fishing sailing scuba diving out of the way travel and painting Jon Walheim Jon is a passionate advocate for the oceans and its inhabitants Professionally Jon is a Senior Operations and Technology Executive with a reputation for achieving significant strategic transformational operational results leading to significant growth and cost savings for multi billion dollar operations in financial services industries He is currently Executive Vice President of Strategic Business Development of Mattersight Corporation in San Francisco Margaret C Lindgren Margaret is the founder owner and guide of Unbeaten Path Hiking Tours which specializes in private customized walking tours along the Mendonoma coast She is an avid nature enthusiast with a diverse professional background and a passion for learning Margaret combines her passions in her work as well as in her community stewardships She is the Chairman of the regional sanctuaries Coastal Advisors of Sonoma and Mendocino Counties a citizen scientist Beach

    you accidentally get onto the freeway approach Doyle Drive continue toward the Golden Gate Bridge and take the last SF exit before the toll plaza then refer to the directions for Entering the Presidio from 19th Avenue Park Presidio Entering the Presidio from Marin County going south Enter Golden Gate Bridge toll plaza at RIGHT toll booth Exit immediately before bus stop Make quick RIGHT turn to go under toll plaza and through parking area bearing right At second stop sign turn LEFT on to Lincoln Blvd Follow it down the hill past the Fort Point entrance and under the freeway underpass Continue on another 0 2 miles LEFT on McDowell at the stop sign and down the hill At the Crissy Field Ave stop sign turn LEFT This takes you under the overpass and by the pet cemetery on your left At the stop turn RIGHT then make immediate LEFT at the first warehouse and drive toward the Bay about 500 yards Crissy Field will be on your right and buildings will be on your left Directly across from Warehouse 937 you will see a small sign next to the Pedestrian Walkway labeled Authorized Vehicles Only Turn right down the driveway marked Authorized Vehicles Only NOTE If you reach a roundabout and the parking lot for the West Bluff Picnic Area you have gone too far and need to backtrack only about 50 yards The driveway ends in a parking lot and we are located in the second large building to your right It is the only three story building and has a cement stairway leading to a green door Enter Visitor Center on the east side of the building Entering Presidio from 19th Avenue Park Presidio going north RIGHT at the Last San Francisco Exit before the Golden

    Do you love to share information about the environment you care about and want to protect This opportunity gets you out to fairs festivals and cultural events around the Bay Area talking with the public about the Sanctuary and FMSA s Programs You can staff the sanctuary booth disseminate information and share your enthusiasm about the Sanctuary and the marine world Weekends only and you must commit to two to four events per year Did we say you must like to talk to people Special Events Throughout the year Sanctuary Volunteers participate in special events ranging from the Coastal Beach Clean Up to the OceanFilm Festival lending a hand where needed and sharing their time and energy The opportunities are different annually It s a fun and diverse way to get involved meet great people and be a part the Sanctuary volunteer community Office Volunteers Have you recently retired or have some spare hours between your college classes Will you share your many skills with the Sanctuary and lend some of your weekday time to us We can use your help and expertise in our office Mon Fri with projects programs and everyday things We need you Sharkmobile Help assist
