  • Shopping: January Round-Up – Heart-Strutter.org
went to Las Vegas with friends I was good didn t drink even threw in a late night workout at the hotel I didn t spend very much money except for chipping in for the hotel of course Friends bought food and we cooked for the most part We did do brunch and few quick foods but I d say my spending was very minimal for a Vegas trip but was an unplanned expense nonetheless However I did gain new friends in the process On the Sunday of that Vegas weekend just before we left the emphasis was definitely on shopping We even stopped by the outlets at Primm before driving back home I didn t purchase anything at the outlets but I did make a purchase at Planet Hollywood an expensive unplanned one I lost my best favoritest sunglasses when I was in a car accident back in Dec 2010 They were gorgeous aviators that ran a smidgen more square than round perfect for my super round circle face And since then I haven t exactly had sunglasses I mean I have but nothing I was attached to to make part of my look Enter Prada 52PS I also had been holding on to a store credit from Solstice for three years lmao So I resolved to make the sunglasses my monthly purchase This did mean that I changed my January shopping theme from trousers to accessories something I had planned well into the middle of the year because I don t consider accessories very important which is perhaps a rookie fashion mistake But I think considering my move in January purchasing anything that would add to my baggage wouldn t make sense But sunglasses now those are handy things So I felt justified in changing my theme Also

  • Slip. – Heart-Strutter.org
I haven t wanted to It s not that he hasn t wanted to talk to someone but he just never had the chance to He only realized he hasn t talked to anyone today when he sat down on the bench he s sitting on now In front of the church across the street from his house I like to sit on it after a long or not so long walk around my neighborhood I usually take the same route Almost always end up on the same bench Talk by Stephen Dixon on The American Reader My days really are slipping past me Some days the most I say is ok or k Not exactly the most formal use of my English language abilities But it s the most I can muster As the days go on and on I talk less and less I have fewer exposure to people outside the confines of work per the day and no access to conversation outside the confines of my mind On any given day its not so bad but as time goes on this solitary confinement begins to take its toll People are so disappointing that I don t exactly know what it is that I am mourning Isn t solitary isolation almost a respite from the disappointment Yet I have thoughts aplenty and without any means of expressing them it s enough to drive anyone mad Maybe if I had much less to say it wouldn t be so bad I watched a documentary called Solitary Confinement just to fuel my detachment from the world and further see its repercussions Even now I have about 20 things I want to say in no particular order that coherently stringing them together into something meaningful escapes me I keep seeing First Kiss unusually more often than usual lately and given he was First Kiss it s safe to say we go back a verrrrrry long way I act as neutrally as possible mostly because he really doesn t mean anything to me never did never will But it s a very strange sensation when you know someone is looking at you with lust filled eyes First expresses through his eyes unexpressed repressed desire all while trying to maintain some semblance of a normal conversation It feels stilted to me But my conversational abilities keep it from veering off into awkward pause silence territory Keeping a straight face while someone is recalling memories of you completely undressed scratching at their back and moaning uncontrollably well it s just not natural He asked to see me soon Ok I said Because that s the most I can muster I don t know if I agreed to prove that he is meaningless to me Or if it might happen again Though it by no means should He has a girlfriend They always do So carefully whispered to me after the fact So expectedly expected I don t even flinch anymore Therein lies my moral

talk we talk And so we go for weeks for months not talking at all via If ever I have had a rollercoaster year this would be it Such joy such triumph such difficulty such unfortunate incidents have all filled my year Hopefully the last difficulty of the year was yesterday My 800 Balenciaga purse was stolen along with a 700 handbag I had just minutes before purchased at Nordstrom The details on how it happened are pretty much a moot point I m just pissed my Balenciaga was from 2007 in chevre leather which really was quite lucky and a classic investment Ugh And now I have to buy the goddamn new handbag that also got stolen again Because I liked it that much And it s the holiday season and I have no debit card as I called to cancel it Wtf am I supposed to do I guess last minute gift buying will be the way to go since it might take a week to get my new card Blargh And forget the hassle of having to update all my payment information EVERYWHERE Geezus christ I didn t even use my Bal bag very often you know And that day I just felt like taking it out from the closet and using it Just had to be that day right Or how I should have just been slightly more careful Even a little more careful and the whole situation could have been avoided I suppose I m more upset with myself than anything The person that took my stuff is a fucking idiot They will never have all the things that I have or a life as full as mine And that s why they feel this incredible need to steal Whateverz Despite the loss I m not exactly hurting financially It s just a very minor set back in the grand scheme of all the money I will have in my life shrugs Luckily my whole life was not in the bag since I did actually switch into that bag that very morning Just a luxurious lip balm of which I have two more a Chanel lipstick and of course I have literally about 40 other lipsticks and a book which can easilyyyy be replaced given I actually was fucking reading it But it s just a perspective thing Despite all the things I lost I have really not lost anything too essential I have other handbags It s not a big deal And my phone with all my work information contacts was at least in my pocket You know I was THIS close to self parking because the line for valet was actually sort of long but I figured eh what the hell might as well valet right THANK BLOODY GOD for that because otherwise my car keys would have been in my purse And then the mess of having to sort out how to regain access to my Bimmer without my keys would have
