    Tenant Based Permanent Supportive Housing Program to house 500 chronically homeless individuals over the next two years The Housing Authority of the County of L A HACoLA created a similar program for 250 chronically homeless individuals over the next 5 years ASSESSING THE NEED Our community completed the most comprehensive Homeless Count in the history of Los Angeles County Under the leadership of the L A Homeless Services Authority LAHSA 68 of the 88 cities in our region opted in to the full count This is a dramatic increase over the 32 cities counted in 2011 HARNESSING GOOD DATA Community partners together with LAHSA have significantly increased usage of the Homeless Management Information System HMIS a critical tool in tracking the progress of homeless individuals interacting with our systems We have made great progress towards addressing chronic and Veteran homelessness in LA County Although much work remains to be undertaken in the next three years we know that individuals and organizations across the county are dedicated to making a new LA a reality We look forward to seeing the amazing work that is accomplished in year three of the plan higher education you dont Home For Good Y2 Report Over the past two years Years 1 2 combined community partners have housed 5 451 chronically homeless people and 2 156 non chronically homeless Veterans The Home For Good Year 2 Quarter 3 Report is out November 27 2012 By admin Home for Good Progress Reports Quarterly Reports Home For Good s Year 2 Quarter 3 report was released this week We are excited to announce that thanks to the work of our Home For Good Partners at the end of this quarter 2 319 chronically homeless individuals and 985 non chronic veterans have been housed Other major accomplishments over the last quarter include To date 67 cities have opted in to the L A Homeless Services Authority LAHSA January 2013 Homeless Count This more than doubles the number of cities that opted in to the 2011 Count making this the most comprehensive Count in Los Angeles history http homeforgoodla com cache loan installment in mn html There are 16 Count Plus communities organized by LAHSA and the 100K Homes Campaign These communities will conduct surveys of their homeless neighbors during the January Homeless Count providing an in depth understanding of the housing and services needs in their community What Is A Personal Loan For A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this year s HomeWalk It was incredible to see over 10 000 people walking and sending the message that we can and will end homelessness United Way intern Brad Rowe captured the day s events beautifully in this blog piece As the year comes to a close we look forward to sharing end of year updates with you in early 2013 To learn how you can get involved in the Home For Good initiative please visit our Get Involved page Read the full report Year 2 Quarter
