    a streamlined one stop funding collaborative The Collaborative will release its first public private Request for Proposals RFP in mid March 2012 payday loans in flint mi The launch of the Home For Good the Funders Collaborative which is uniting public and private funders in an effort to generate permanent supportive housing for chronic and veteran individuals through a streamlined one stop funding collaborative The Collaborative will release its first public private Request for Proposals RFP in mid March 2012 A 68 day reduction in time it takes to get a homeless veteran off of the streets and into housing The HUD VASH Housing Bootcamp held in partnership with the VA Housing Authorities nonprofit partners Community Solutions and the Home For Good team reduced placement time from 168 days to 100 days 18 local communities led by the 100K Homes Campaign undertook community registries and compiled community lists of everyone living on the streets and in shelters to begin work on housing their most vulnerable 31 cities participated in LAHSA s 2011 Opt in homeless count up from 15 in 2009 LAHSA began work to improve the Homeless Management Information System HMIS usage and functionality HMIS increased to 60 in shelters and 35 for permanent supportive housing In 2011 Home For Good laid the groundwork and in the next four years the initiative will continue to push for systemic change that assures Los Angeles County is moving towards a system focused on assessing homeless individuals needs and rapidly re housing those in crises Home For Good s achievements in its first year and the years to come would not be possible without the leadership of individuals and organizations across sectors that are working tirelessly to make sure that everyone in Los Angeles has a place to call home for good If you have not done so already please sign up today to pledge your support for ending chronic and veteran homelessness in Los Angeles Read the updated Action Plan and full Year One Report Home For Good Action Plan Year 1 Report Helping house our homeless vets November 01 2011 By admin Home for Good Progress Reports Quarterly Reports This week Home For Good released its third quarterly report tracking our community s progress toward ending chronic and veteran homelessness by 2016 In honor of Veteran s Day we would like to highlight two valuable updates related to the goal of ending veteran homelessness Community Solutions and the Business Leaders Task Force partnered with cross sector leaders to convene the Housing Placement Boot Camp designed to speed up the process of housing homeless veterans in the HUD VASH program At the September 90 day reconvening partners reported a 68 day reduction in the time it takes to get a homeless veteran off of the streets and into housing Since launching in February Project 60 has housed 33 chronically homeless veterans in Supervisor Yaroslavsky s district This program targets community resources and partnerships to identify house and support these veterans http

  • Home For Good Funders Collaborative: Lessons Learned
