    sociale Le persone prima di tutto nei provvedimenti anticrisi e nella costruzione del nuovo Welfare Le persone fine ultimo di ogni azione politica e valore fondamentale nella società che verrà dopo la crisi PEOPLE FIRST Maurizio Sacconi Home The Foundation Mission Vision CSR Documents on CSR About Us Promoting Founders Board Academic Committee Statute Organization Staff Work Groups Contacts Login Topics of interest Activities Institutional network Pubblications Research Policy Papers CSR diffusion instruments Papers Responsabilità Sociale d Impresa la parola all esperto a Z CSR essentials Glossary Events Newsletter Archive Home Pubblications Research Globalization Italian enterprises manufacturing activities outsourcing and human rights safeguard and valorisation policies The research aims at studying those enterprises facing globalization and their outsourcing strategies analysing in particular their impact on the quality of the newly created jobs mainly in the hosting countries and identifying obstacles for CSR approach diffusion The research was conduced through an analysis of the existent literature and through delivering an on line survey Most of the responses come from big and medium dimension enterprises that are already active in the CSR field and that have been activating outsourcing processes mainly in Eastern Europe and in the last years in Developing countries The key drivers of outsourcing are the competitive manufacturing costs and the new type of productive flexibility and the new export markets As for the impact on the level of Italian employment most of the enterprises replying to the questionnaire 58 didn t reveal a significant variation while for the 21 there was a reduction Differently in the hosting countries we observed an increase in the employment mainly in the ranges from 100 to 250 employers for about 33 of the replying enterprises and from 1 to 50 employers 30 Among the CSR initiatives implemented in the hosting countries by
