    importance of the service provided Bank firms should support customer contact employees in order to acquire communicative sale skills and make them feel comfortable and satisfied with their job The above ascertainment emerged the concept of Internal Marketing IM According to the Berry and Parasuraman 1991 each business should develop Internal Marketing programmes that would focus on the internal market employees in parallel to those for its external market customers in order to provide high quality services to its customers continuously Consequently external customer satisfaction cannot be achieved without the fundamental contribution of the employees who provide the service Therefore managers who are concerned with monitoring and improving external customer satisfaction need to develop employees competence in order to act as part time marketers for the organisation The key for employees competence is Internal Marketing Gummesson 1987 where head office is highly involved in strategic and planning IM whereas senior and middle level managers have more tactic role The implementation of Internal Marketing is carried out by the employees of the branches in order to transfer this philosophy into Bank s customers The present case study aims to examine the adoption of IM concept from Equity Bank s Kengeleni branch

  • Considerations for Effective Distribution of Banking Services in Nigeria | Uzoma | Research Journal of Finance and Accounting
    time service delivery and distribution effectiveness of bank services have been jeopardized and many of today s customers of banks have critically complaint about poor service delivery and inconsistent services distribution In this work we demonstrated the considerations towards providing effective banking services distribution in Nigeria We identified the objectives to include to find whether significant relationship exist between service delivery of banks and consumers choice and to ascertain the extent to which of excellence of bank services distribution on the growth and survival of Nigerian banks To accomplish these objectives the study utilizes survey design to seek responses from 30 Staff of the three selected banks in Nigeria Questionnaire was used and the data from questionnaire were analyzed using frequency table Statistic proportion test x 2 Chi square was used in testing the the hypotheses Having done the analysis the research findings show that significant relationships exist between bank service delivery and Consumers choice of Banks Excellency in bank service delivery and distribution can have positive impact on the growth and survival of Nigerian banks Based on these we recommend that there should be improvement in bank service delivery and also Nigerian banks must enhanced and advanced their distribution

    there is still dichotomy between what the users of audited financial statements the public do perceive auditor s and their duties and responsibilities to be as against what auditing regulatory frameworks promulgate In this paper we analyze the knowledge and awareness of 56 Finance Staff of Public Universities within Kumasi metropolis using Spellman s Hydrostatic Pressure Model SHPM Our results suggest that large number of the finance Staff of the public universities are youthful with highly adequate professional and academic qualifications in auditing and accountancy coupled with fairly good number of working experiences in this field The present study proposed and validated the argument that adequate professional and academic knowledge and training in auditing and accountancy largely elucidate Audit Expectation Gap AEG Given that the model has explained that adequate professional and academic knowledge and training in auditing and accountancy largely elucidate AEG it assures to be a valid model for predicting AEG and how to avoid it completely The paper therefore concludes that adequate training and education is the panacea for eliminating AEG s ugly hairy heads among the public This study thus fills scarcity of conceptual model in understanding the critical determinant s that influence AEG not only

  • Internal Audit Function in Tunisian Listed Companies: An Explanatory Study | Oussii | Research Journal of Finance and Accounting
    activities of the internal audit function in Tunisian listed firms and evaluate its capacity to fulfill its role in corporate governance process Design methodology approach The study has been carried out through a questionnaire survey that aims to analyze internal audit function IAF characteristics in Tunisian listed firms The main aspects of this study were insourcing versus outsourcing arrangements of the internal audit function organizational statue internal audit activities and internal audit interaction with external auditors Findings The findings of the study show that despite its changing role within the organization the internal audit function suffers from some limitations that impair its independence and limit its intervention field Also internal audit function in Tunisian listed companies is focused on financial audit internal controls and risk management assessment Further analysis reveals a considerable level of coordination between internal and external auditors Research implications The paper s findings are of interest to several different parties primarily the professional internal audit body chief audit executive CAE audit committee and senior management Originality value The paper describes an empirical study conducted on a sample of Tunisian listed companies which provides a better understanding of the internal audit function attributes and activities The paper is

    By Issue By Author By Title Other Journals Journal Help Home Vol 6 No 19 2015 Mutenheri The Determinants of Capital Structure in Zimbabwe during the Multicurrency Regime Enard Mutenheri Chipo Munangagwa Abstract Recent research has focused on the influence of institutional environment on capital structure decisions of firms therefore this study examined capital structure choices of Zimbabwean listed firms during the multicurrency regime Using a balanced panel of 43 companies listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange this study first examined whether the debt ratios of these firms significantly changed over the period 2010 2013 The results from the one way repeated measures ANOVA show that the mean debt ratio did not significantly change over the four years The second objective was to determine factors influencing capital structure choices of these firms under a multicurrency regime and the results show that profitability tangibility and firm size were significant factors but had different signs from those previously reported under different regimes Therefore the current study provides evidence to suggest that the determinants of capital structure may change in response to the institutional environment Keywords capital structure debt ratios multicurrency regime Zimbabwe Full Text PDF To list your conference here Please contact

  • An Empirical Study of Illusion of Control and Self-Serving Attribution Bias, Impact on Investor’s Decision Making: Moderating Role of Financial Literacy | Ullah | Research Journal of Finance and Accounting
    Abstract According to traditional financial theory investors are supposed to be rational and make decisions that reflect all available information but prospect theory explained a number of biases which affect the investor s behavior and investors lead to irrational decision making This study aims to investigate the influence of behavioral biases self attribution illusion of control on investment decisions with the moderating role of financial literacy in context of Pakistan The relationship was examined by administering a questionnaire and by collecting empirical data from investors about their own perception of these biases Questionnaire was distributed among the sample of 220 investors and two statistical tools correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to analyze the collected data The study was found that the Illusion of control bias has significant positive impact on individual investor investment decision and no support were found for the positive impact of self serving attribution bias on investment decision It is also found that financial literacy moderates the relationship between illusion of control bias and investment decision so that it weaken the relationship The findings of this study will helpful for investors to identify these biases which interrupted his decision making level and then formulate different
