  • Fred Gladstone - Indian National Finals Rodeo Hall of Fame
    to Indian peoples Mr Fred Gladstone accomplished amazing feats while dealing with prejudice abuse and inequality Fred succeeded and broke through the barriers paving a path forever for Indian Cowboys Fred was one of the Indian Cowboys who started the INFR with their own personal funds to guarantee the financial stability of hosting the Indian National Finals Rodeo This was how the Indian National Finals Rodeo was born and amplified Fred was inducted to the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association on November 14 1992 and was a Gold Card Holder He was the first Indian to capture a Canadian Calf Roping Championship as a Rookie He was a life member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Senior Pro Rodeo Association Fred was awarded the Pioneer of Rodeo award by the Calgary Stampede and was honored for the achievement It is a proud moment that we honor one of our first inductees a man of great integrity and honesty and a man that has achieved great accomplishments A man that Indian People can be proud of Mr Fred Gladstone Fred Gladstone at the Calgary Stampede 1951 2015 Inductees Dave Best Sam Bird Kelvin Fox Carole Jackson Holyan Jerry Small 2014

  • Pete Fredericks - Indian National Finals Rodeo Hall of Fame
    Facebook Pete Fredericks His Indian name is Charging Eagle and he was North Dakota s first National High School Rodeo champion In 1953 Pete won the National High School Rodeo Bareback Championship and he went on to win the titles for saddle bronc and all around in 1955 At Dickinson State Teachers College Pete helped start the college rodeo team In its first year the team won nearly everything and Fredericks became a two time National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association finalist He was also runner up in the saddle bronc and all around categories in 1957 As a professional Pete competed in and won some of the country s biggest rodeos qualifying for the National Finals in 1961 and placing 4th in bareback and 15th in the world all around standings He again qualified for the National Finals in 1962 and 1964 In 1976 Pete became a founding member of the Indian National Finals Rodeo Commission and continues to serve on it Pete competing on Sorrel Top in San Antonio 1962 2015 Inductees Dave Best Sam Bird Kelvin Fox Carole Jackson Holyan Jerry Small 2014 Inductees Gary Not Afraid CL Johnson Larry Condon Archie Becenti Lyle Cochran 2013 Inductees Jim Jacobs

  • Bob Arrington - Indian National Finals Rodeo Hall of Fame
    born March 21 1928 and passed from his earthly life in 2008 He is now with his beloved wife Jo of 47 years and his beloved son Tooter Bob was a true cowboy in heart and spirit all through his life He was a founder and past president of the Indian National Finals Rodeo and worked with the organization for over 20 years He helped found the Oklahoma All Indian Rodeo Association start the Muscogee Creek Nation Rodeo in the 70 s and was instrumental in the building of the rodeo arena at the Muscogee Creek Nation He loved rodeo and was an active participant all his life He started in his late teens in bareback and saddle bronc events and even tried bull riding In his 30 s he began to enter calf roping and team roping He won numerous saddles and buckles throughout his life signifying his skills as cowboy Bob was a big advocate for Indian rodeo and just recently the Muscogee Creek Nation named their rodeo arena as the Bob Arrington Rodeo Arena 2015 Inductees Dave Best Sam Bird Kelvin Fox Carole Jackson Holyan Jerry Small 2014 Inductees Gary Not Afraid CL Johnson Larry Condon Archie

  • Jay Harwood - Indian National Finals Rodeo Hall of Fame
    born and raised in Browning Montana grew up punching cows as a youngster was an active rodeo contestant for a number of years and then found his way to the announcer s stand His commanding voice and talent was recognized throughout North America as one of the best He announced more than 7 500 rodeo performances and among those performances was the elite NFR in which he announced five times He had announced in more than half of the 50 states Not to forget the big Canadian rodeos he announced as well His many rodeo miles and memories helped create a very proud Montana cowboy and devotee to the Western lifestyle where hard work will bring good results a man s word is bond and a solid foundation of integrity is as good as it gets Jay lived by those principles and was always the best friend anyone could ask for Jay s distinctive voice and knowledge of the sport of rodeo will long be remembered The INFR will always think of Jay as one of the best in the business as well as a true professional 2015 Inductees Dave Best Sam Bird Kelvin Fox Carole Jackson Holyan Jerry Small
