    Stakeholder Engagement Project is engaging health and human service consumers community based providers advocates and state employees to gather ideas and develop a more user friendly consumer focused system IPHI has served as the Framework s lead partner in engaging stakeholders since 2011 In total IPHI has led more than 100 events across the state and online and more than 2 500 stakeholders have participated in Illinois Framework activities Click here to learn more about the Framework IMPACT Provider Enrollment Communications The State of Illinois has undertaken the task of replacing the 30 year old Medicaid Management Information System MMIS with the Illinois Medicaid Program Advanced Cloud Technology IMPACT The modernization of MMIS is expected to lead to improvements in member management provider management and claims processing In February 2015 IPHI began supporting IMPACT Provider Enrollment Communications by providing technical assistance and consultation to the Illinois Framework Project Management Office for two monthly webinar series for state agency staff and service providers The goal of the webinar series is to prepare state agency staff to use the new system and ready providers for any procedural changes related to provider enrollment in IMPACT To date over 100 state agency staff and over 1 000 service providers have participated in the monthly webinar series Click here to learn more about IMPACT Provider Enrollment BIP Stakeholder Engagement The Federal Balancing Incentives Program BIP authorized an estimated 90 million grant to the State of Illinois to increase access to non institutional long term services and supports LTSS In collaboration with DHS Aging and the Illinois Framework HFS convened the BIP stakeholder group in January 2014 IPHI provided both content and process support for the BIP stakeholder group through meeting facilitation material preparation and survey administration To date IPHI has facilitated 6 meetings and conducted 5 surveys with over 100 stakeholders Click here to learn more about BIP Recent Projects GOHIT Stakeholder Engagement From June through December of 2014 the Governor s Office of Health Innovation and Transformation GOHIT convened Stakeholder Work Groups to support the development of recommendations for the Alliance for Health Innovation Plan and the 1115 waiver application The Illinois Public Health Institute IPHI with support from the Illinois Framework the Chicago Community Trust and the Michael Reese Health Trust helped coordinate parts of the stakeholder feedback process which resulted in over 200 recommendations to transform Illinois healthcare and human service systems IPHI served as Work Group Coordinators for the Data and Technology Work Group and the Long term Services and Support Subcommittee Between the two groups the Stakeholder Engagement Team facilitated 28 meetings and conducted 13 surveys with over 700 stakeholders Click here to learn more about GOHIT In Person Counselors Navigators for ACA Enrollment The Illinois Department of Public Health IDPH in coordination with the federal Health Insurance Marketplace provided grant funds to organizations across the state to assist Illinois residents enrolling in new health insurance options made available through the Affordable Care Act ACA The West Suburban Cook County

    Positions available at IPHI Contact Us Public Health Links Privacy Policy Reports Publications You are here Home Center for Health and Information Technology Data Across Sectors for Health DASH Data Across Sectors for Health DASH In February 2015 the Illinois Public Health Institute in partnership with the Michigan Public Health Institute was selected by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation RWJF to serve as the National Coordinating Office NCO for a new initiative to foster multi sector information sharing to improve the health of communities Connections among public health health care human services and other sectors can improve communities capacity for planning prioritizing monitoring innovation and rapid response for healthier and more resilient populations As part of RWJF s Culture of Health Data Across Sectors for Health DASH aims to identify and share learnings to move the field toward action DASH will identify barriers opportunities promising practices and indicators of progress for multi sector collaborations to share information for community health improvement The DASH National Coordinating Office will execute activities that support those collaborations and the field Monitoring the environment including an environmental scan to document existing and emerging multi sector collaborations and developing indicators of progress for the field Providing technical assistance and facilitating collaborative learning to support grantees and other stakeholders in the field Communicating lessons learned promising practices barriers opportunities and indicators of progress among grantees and with stakeholders across the nation Convening a DASH advisory group of thought leaders to provide guidance on the selection of grantees expertise on emerging research and input on communications to the field Networking across various sectors leaders partners grantees and stakeholders to build relationships within the field and connect grantee collaborations to expertise and resources DASH s immediate focus is to develop a deeper understanding of the field The environmental scan

    Change Strategies Learning Collaboratives Obesity Action Roadmap Accreditation and Mock Review Collaborative QI Learning Collaboratives CCCD Archived Projects Health and Information Technology Data Across Sectors for Health DASH Illinois Framework Stakeholder Engagement Project IMPACT Provider Enrollment Communications BIP Stakeholder Engagement CHIT Archived Projects About IPHI Board of Directors Staff Directory Staff Representation Funders Positions available at IPHI Contact Us Public Health Links Privacy Policy Reports Publications You are here Home Center for Health and Information Technology BIP Stakeholder Engagement BIP Stakeholder Engagement The Federal Balancing Incentives Program BIP authorized an estimated 90 million grant to the State of Illinois to increase access to non institutional long term services and supports LTSS by Lowering costs through improved systems performance efficiency creating tools to help consumers with care planning assessment and improving quality measurement oversight The BIP also increases the Federal Matching Assistance Percentage FMAP to States that create structural changes to increase nursing home diversions and access to non institutional LTSS These structural modifications include the provision or creation of A no wrong door single entry point system NWD SEP conflict free case management services and core standardized assessment instruments In collaboration with DHS Aging and the Illinois Framework HFS convened the BIP stakeholder group in January 2014 IPHI provided both content and process support for the BIP stakeholder group through meeting facilitation material preparation and survey administration To date the Stakeholder Engagement Team has facilitated 6 meetings and conducted 5 surveys with over 100 stakeholders IPHI s facilitation primarily focused on gathering stakeholder feedback on the three major components of BIP Language for an initial screen to work in conjunction with the Uniform Assessment Tool UAT Recommendations for accessing the coordinated entry points website and call center Recommendations for the Conflict free Case Management protocol to be implemented by September
