    with the accuracy the constant calibration and the continual errors It was a complete waste of time As My son is in high school now and requiring more independence we are trialing the Dexcom this week and I am surprised at the accuracy and reliability If you are considering this option give it a trial for a week The CGM concept has come along way in the last few years

    ve started using a couple of different techniques to keep the sensor attached longer I put a coating of Skin Tac on the adhesive and let it dry a bit before attaching the sensor Then after the sensor is attached I use some Opsite FlexiFix to cover the sensor and adhesive cutting a hole in the middle where the actual sensor is The idea is to cover up all of

    slept with my weight on the sensor once and it gave me screwy readings but that was with the very first Dexcom system I haven t tested if that still causes problems because my current set up works great I don t like wearing it on my upper arm because I ve had problems with a short sleeve shirt catching on the sensor and pulling it out I ve heard

    by Frank Cz Forgot to add the best site for long accurate Dexcom wear is still upper arm just above a short sleeve Belly or back gets too sweaty Also don t forget for failed sensors they will ship overnight

    basically dexcom in the cloud I can watch my son s BG on a pebble watch Dexcom back to back to a cell phone phone cu cloud cloud to my cell cell to pebble It s a bit unnerving for the others when i check my watch often but it s worth it If anybody wants more details please let me know happy to help with setup Record 15 days
