meter it took shape in the wish and in the real gift of many people that in their heart felt and understood Now Heaven is living Children many children needing everything food water care school Little sick malnourished dehydrated Huge eyes in little carved scrawny faces Extreme challenge to life So small they can stay within one hand Like Emanuela two weeks of life one and a half kilo Her cradle A shoes box covered with some cotton A light constant knocking at the green gate of the Village paradise is just there so close you just have to pass the threshold and there you are inside But Francesco and Nevia say not always we are able to save them sometimes they arrive so exhausted that any cure is useless At the beginning we were living all this as a defeat then we understood that maybe they are coming to die here where they are surrounded with love so that they leave this world having experienced what it feels like to be loved to receive affection warmth care But for the others the ones we can save life explodes with all its primary needs food water love And it is real life that is beating in the many aspects of its beautiful difficult reality the little orphans permanent guests of the Village their adoptive mothers their homes simple clean tidy with water and electricity Green pinafores and little backpacks all together they go out in the morning through the fields to reach the school And the Emergency Center or better the miracles room always crowded where life and death contend for little skeletons you are afraid even to touch and who can be taken towards the side of life just by an endless caring and patient love The smell of

the children What is it The Emergency Center One day in Heaven Images Pictures Videos Analysis of a miracle I read on the dictionary miracle extraordinary event unexpected effect intervention able to radically modify a situation and to change the course of events I like to believe that there is a room of miracles a room that is full overwhelming from which you can take with your hands full if you only knew the keys to open the door if you only knew the rule of the game And those who know the rule of the game can open that door there the miracle takes place The wise man says the key that opens every door is love Therefore it is your heart made vulnerable made tender the one that made the miracle It happened at 5 000 km distance miracles have no limits are not subdued to the laws of space and time they can travel freely at light speed There a child abandoned with no clothes no shoes covered with dust hungry suddenly finds himself in heaven and he cannot tell how this happened to him But what is heaven for that child It is the house he

  • Christmas Eve — Fondazione James Non Morirà
her After the coffee my mother came back home and I gave her the food But she ate only one mouthful and then she went to bed so I ate alone But I was not hungry anymore So I went to bed and I hugged my mother We slept all the night hugged together In the morning I woke up and when I looked at her her eyes were open Also her mouth was open and full of flies I tried to wake her up but she didn t Teghisti Ghennet Fiore Timnit Tras They tell their stories all modulated on the same note with few variations all the same for the solitude the hunger the fear They come out from the thick icy night they come out of nowhere and they let us catch a little glimpse of their past when they were covered with dust with tiredness with sun and with tears But this is a Night different from all the other nights it is clear rich of warmth and of meaning Wide open on the life and nourished with hope And the stories that they have wished to write are the Christmas gift offered to Francesco and Nevia and to each of you They are the sign of the perception that when love becomes a gift it is able to transform everything it is able to do extraordinary things as generating for a second time I didn t believe life could be so nice and now mine is wonderful Now I m not the same little girl I used to be but I feel like I was born again and I live happy and changing the names When I came to the Village and I met Francesco and Nevia I decided that I would change my name
