    D Dr Warner received her master and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology with an emphasis in child neuropsychology from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee She completed an APA accredited internship with an emphasis in pediatric neuropsychology at University of New Mexico Albuquerque Center for Neuropsychological Services Dr Warner completed an APA APPCN accredited two year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the UCLA Neuropsychological Program The Help Group She has served for over five years as a pediatric neuropsychologist at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center in the Department of Pediatrics Dr Warner has developed and an annual screening assessment and longitudinal monitoring for neurocognitive late effects in pediatric oncology patients of Kaiser Permanente s Southern California region that she has presented on and is currently working on associated publications Dr Warner has extensive experience conducting assessments examining for ADHD and learning disorders including the development of a reading disorders clinic for Kaiser to inform academic planning for pediatric ophthalmology patients Her clinical interests and experiences are in the neuropsychological assessment of child and adolescent survivors of leukemia brain tumor and other CNS disorders e g traumatic brain injury

    difficulties and abilities The specific measures selected and areas examined during testing are determined by the reason for referral as well as the age and functional level of the individual being assessed We will work with you to determine the type of evaluation that best meets your needs or the needs of your child What ages do you provide testing and assessments for As we have multiple clinicians with a breadth of experience and expertise we are able to provide a broad range of assessment services for toddlers through adults What types of things can be examined during testing Areas that may be assessed include intelligence academic achievement e g reading writing mathematics attention and concentration language e g expressive and receptive communication executive functions e g planning problem solving visual spatial and sensory motor functioning memory emotion depression anxiety etc and adaptive functioning e g social abilities independent living skills When compared to normative data that is culturally appropriate e g age gender education primary language these assessments allow for identification of a variety of neurological and psychological strengths and impairments Can you identify ADHD Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder learning disabilities e g reading dyslexia writing dysgraphia math intellectual giftedness or impairment communication disorders motor disorders and or processing deficits with the testing you offer Yes Our assessments include a battery of tests that examine cognitive abilities academic achievement and socio emotional context in order to assess for a multitude of diagnoses Can you identify psychological disorders and emotional e g anxiety depression with the testing you offer Yes Depending on the needs of the individual we offer both basic and in depth examination of psychological and emotional distress Can you identify Autism Spectrum Disorders with the testing you offer Yes We offer testing to examine for developmental disabilities

    completed during the same or multiple weeks depending on client and examiner s schedules The feedback session is the final meeting with your examiner where the results of the testing is reviewed with you As we are a training site there are options to have your testing completed by both licensed psychologists as well as psychology trainees that are under the supervision of licensed psychologists The level of training of the clinician impacts the overall time it takes to complete your assessment as trainee s testing is reviewed by licensed psychologists before feedback sessions may be scheduled Please keep this in mind if you are pressed for time Additional information can be found on our FAQ about assessment examiners page What is the cost of a comprehensive assessment Learning Dynamics provides services at a reduced rate and on a sliding scale We offer a flat fee option for our comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological batteries that ranges from 900 4500 based on household income Students individuals who have obtained a degree e g GED high school diploma college graduate in the past two years and teachers receive our lowest rate regardless of family income What services are included in the flat rate The hours accounted for include a clinical interview to obtain information on the client s past and current difficulties and possible contributing factors selection of a variety of tests based on information client is looking to obtain consultation with client s family and professionals e g teachers physicians when applicable administration scoring and interpretation of tests development of a detailed report outlining the results of the testing and providing recommendations on how to address identified areas of concern and a feedback session to review the report and answer questions Why is your fee lower than private practices and higher

    on our About Us Staff webpage What is the difference between post masters doctoral post doctoral and licensed psychologists Our post masters clinicians have completed a masters degree in clinical psychology and are independently licensed or working towards completing their final hours to independently license Our doctoral students have completed their masters degrees and are in the process of completing their doctoral degrees in clinical psychology Our post doctoral trainees have completed their masters and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology and are completing the final hours they need to independently license as a psychologist Our licensed psychologists have completed all of their education and training requirements and are licensed to independently practice clinical psychology All of our testing by unlicensed clinicians and masters level licensed clinicians is completed under the supervision of licensed psychologists How will working with either a post masters clinician doctoral or post doctoral student be different from receiving services from a licensed psychologist The primary differences are in the amount of experience conducting testing and the turnaround time for completing the written report All trainees attend weekly training labs and seminars on clinical interventions and testing instruments Regardless of how many years of prior testing experience they have prior to training at Learning Dynamics trainees must demonstrate proficiency in conducting assessments by meeting one on one with a member of our staff prior to administering assessments to community members How is the time to complete the asessment process different when working with a post masters clinician doctoral or post doctoral student as compared to working with a licensed psychologist Testing by a licensed psychologist is completed faster than testing by a trainee as the trainee s testing must be reviewed by a licensed psychologist before completion Our training process includes a process with multiple review stages

    on a person s experience informs our ability to accurately examine their difficulties and identify resources that will be both effective and realistic in increasing our clients wellbeing and decreasing the negative impact their difficulties often have on their school work and personal lives Our traditional assessment process includes this information that was provided on the previous pages Questions regarding purpose types and uses of our testing Questions regarding our evaluation process Questions regarding examiners that conduct assessments at Learning Dynamics As each person s difficulties and examination needs vary you may want to consider asking about adding one or more of these optional services to our traditional assessment process Off Site Alternative Location Assessment Some clients situations may require or benefit from us conducting one or more session at an off site location Common reasons may include caregiver work schedule currently in a residential treatment program and or individual or family s desire for discretion provided by alternative location to maintain privacy Behavioral Observations Examiners are available to observe the client in enviornments outside of the office setting Typically these observations occur at home school and or work as appropriate and clinically relevant First hand observation of the difficulties
