    Restoration Project office 1287 Oak St Ashland OR Job Description The Accounting Assistant and Office Manager is a dual allocation position that supports the Chief Financial Officer and Accountant in the management of Lomakatsi s books and performs other administrative duties Duties are performed under the prioritization and supervision of the CFO and Accountant Major Duties and Responsibilities ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT Posting information in accounting software and filing systems Assist financial team in project expense tracking and invoicing Assist in state and federal reporting compliance Assist with payroll Assist with quarterly reporting profit and loss balance sheet budgets etc Assist with managing budgets job costing accounts receivable and payable Assist with producing internal monthly reports GENERAL ADMINISTRATION Answer phones and manage messaging including general email account Inventory and purchase of office supplies Provide support in donor database management and data entry Communication support including assisting with bulk mailings printing and collating event invitations thank you letters and informational materials Filing and management of organizational files Coordination of staff and board meetings Skills and Proficiencies Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based operating system Working knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel A working understanding of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles Friendly and welcoming communication style with attention to detail in tracking communication passing along messages and fielding phone calls Strong work ethic organizational skills and clear communication skills Ability to work independently to perform multiple tasks and fulfill required duties Attention to detail and respect for confidentiality Qualifications and Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support and bookkeeping Computer experience is required A working knowledge of Quickbooks and MS Excel Outlook and Word Acknowledgement This job description is intended to provide an overview of the requirements of the position It is not necessarily all inclusive and
