cancer and I know I must have and keep my faith I m not trying to be mean or cantankerous I just wish people would do the right thing and use a little common sense Farmgirl 3535 Pflugerville TX http belts and I m getting ready to try my hand at making shoulder bags out of them My mom made me a denim bag years ago before they were popular around here and I love it She made it out of an old pair of jeans They were very popular out west where Dad and her were traveling at the time So I figured little skirts made from bright or ruffled fabrics with bright belts for handles and embellished with beads yo yo s yes I bought a yo yo maker giggle and such would be really fun to make Wish me luck Ya ll know I m NOT crafty But I can see these in my mind I know I can do this Yes Aren t cats fun Our turn my phone off this weekend Josh got a frantic call from his mother last night that his dad was back in the hospital and we had to leave and come to Oklahoma now Basically it boiled down to this Dad wasn t telling Mom that he was feeling bad or how serious Mom wasn t asking questions They didn t tell the doctor what was going on so the doctor couldn t make the connections he needed to give the kids a clear answer Chris Josh s brother had a sit down with Mom Dad and told them we need to talk to the doc SO they do and the doc determined that the cancer in around dad s nose is causing whatever issues dad is having with his already weakened heart They can not do what they need to for his heart because the issues with the cancer would cause more problems SO they have to wait till the pneumonia is gone and get him to the cancer hospital on Thursday for the appointment we ve been waiting for since about 2 weeks ago Once they determine the type and severity and root of the cancer we ll be able to do and know more I told Josh that if I find out he s sick and doesn t tell me I will beat him At least now we don t have to scramble to figure out what to do with the dogs we don t have to take time off we don t have to spend the gas money to high tail it up there and I don t have to womp anyone I m not trying to be mean or cantankerous I just wish people would do the right thing and some really hard times and nearly lost our apartment so 2 months of my missin period was due to no internet But then Hubby got a great new job makin MUCH more than he was nearly 3 times as much Now we are square with our bills all but 2 of them but they are really close to caught up Hubby is still unhappy about one thing though We actually had to pawn his motorcycle to get by We will be gettin it back in a few weeks with the tax money Then he ll feel like everything will be ok agian I ve been pretty down since just before thanksgiving We lost my grandma and found out that Hubby s uncle had cancer and just a few months to live He is really fightin hard but there just isn t much that can be done for him We have been on bedside watch with my uncle for about a week now due to cancer It s just been really rough lately I have been tryin to pull myself out of it lately I have started a new garden journal I ve been recordin the weather and the strawberry seeds the girls planted I even decided to try to race my dad to the first tomato of the year I have 4 pots with seed settin an a table by my big window Hubby said he d build me a second 4ft x 4ft bed out front and the community garden said I could have a bigger plot It will be 40ft x 20ft Double my spot last year I m just kinda waitin for things to thaw out so I can really get me some dirt therapy I have a few pots of rosemary and thyme in the window but they are in danger of disappearin altogether I have been pretty free with the kitchen shears in the last few weeks I love soup this time of year and fresh herbs in them just makes me smile a little The girls love to throw the herbs in on the stem and then see who gets the stick in their bowl They think it s some sort of priviledge to get it so I have to be sure to rotate who gets it if there isn t enough for both bowls They find strange things funny The grandson is walkin and talkin somewhat now He is so precious and so ornery at the same time He has taken to yellin Wuv U whenever he does somethin he isn t supposed to and gets caught That makes it awful hard to scold him when your laughin at him I just think A Mother s Revenge whenever my DD calls to m sure we could work something And in OUR area everyone uses their guns and rifles and shotguns constantly either for getting rid of coyotes and feral hogs or just to say HEY DON YOU AWAKE YET Drumroll please I finally got started on my dress I cut it out Sunday and found for some reason the lace that I had purchased is NOT scalloped edge BUT that s okay I m going to end up using trim I d bought for the veil that I am not actually going to make I tried making it and felt very dumpy in this long atrocity to edge the lace and lace that I had bought to edge the satin hem of the skirt So as I was cutting the fabric I got new ideas and got a feel for what I was working with We took the dogs into town and went to the park That s when Josh got a call from his OTHER brother and we got a few things straight Pop is doing better he s got the flu yay another added thing but they are treating him for that and he s doing better His blood pressure had gone VERY low and he had a fever but it s all evening out and so far he s doing relatively okay The dogs had fun smelling duck poop and dragging us down the trails and Penny had fun yelling at a pug mix of some sort that was about 4 times her size The pug just yelled back and she yelled louder Silly dogs Well we got home I started supper the dogs were sprawled on our couch snoring and I got back to work cutting out the top for the dress I m making it a 2 piece set instead of one solid dress because Lord knows I do NOT fit into dresses My girls are too big my torso is too short and no one knows what a waistline is any more Since I work in a credit union I had yesterday off for MLK day so I went to the WalMart in town to get thread since for SOME reason I had no ivory thread and got a new marking pen a seam ripper and some needles I got home and baked banana cupcakes still trying to figure out what kind of cake cupcakes I want to make and did some dishes and started sewing the dress The underskirt is essentially finished other than attaching to the overskirt and then hemming trimming it in lace I also started on the blouse and got about halfway through it So I d say I m about 1 3 of the way through with the wedding dress already Agnes Josh s cat came and helped don t worry everything important is bagged up and sealed the tulle she is laying on was the old veil that I disassembled I also got started on decorating the comb attached to the short veil I decided to use for the ceremony I ll switch to a crystal headband for the reception So I am on track to get this stuff done Also not going to get into it in much detail but I emailed the editor of a wedding magazine that Momma bought me and they want to see pictures to review EEEEEK The weekend was crazy but good and I am so excited I got so far Miranda Thrall TX USA 285 Posts Posted Jan 22 2013 1 37 19 PM oooooh lentils sound so good right now I always forget to buy them The wedding dress is so exciting because so much of my vision is finally coming into fruition and things are changing in GOOD ways on it I was really worried that having two layers of fabric would make it harder to sew but so far so good I took my time and read the patterns and got good QUALITY material and then made sure I found patterns that could use the same fabric when I changed patterns and that Kenmore of mine is just clicking along like Momma s did back in the day I think I will finish the veil I m adding crystals to the comb and maybe work on finish the train tonight I hemmed most of the edges on the organdy that I bought for the train yesterday and I ll trim it down to size Why did I buy so much and same with the netting I m going to make it detachable so that I don t destroy it sitting or put holes in the dress by tearing it out And even found use for the leftover fabric maybe I m going to try making flowers similar to the paper flowers I m making I saw a bouquet in a magazine made out of old silk flowers from vintage hats and that sort of inspired me to try my hand at making textile flowers I think finally getting started on the dress has helped bring me at least partly out of my funk and to make me see how close we are Less than 3 which foods caused it and in the process lost about 40 pounds It sounds like a lot of work but I wonder if it could be that simple food allergies Yes Mama and I love our Beetle Baby s Bun Warmers LOL Porchies Cherime I get that whole gotta wait until money comes thing when it comes to extra s like books Hope GDD s Mother can get her head on straight so GDD doesn t have to worry about her I have always wanted to write a book but not bad enough to quit reading long enough to actually do it I enjoy reading so much I guess I will leave the writing to others at this point in my life I have written some magazine articles over the years and binders full of Poetry and that pretty much keeps me content with the writing urges But good for you Cherime What kind of books did you write Angela I am sorry to hear about all your losses but as you and hubby get older more and more people around you will pass To me it is the saddest part of Living watching those we love die God will get you ALL through this really hard time It is part of LIfe not the pleasant part either Praying for all of you Netty I have seen Churches die off with their members It is sad to watch happen We just found out tonight that a small Church we attended for years just lost another of their senior members and it was a woman who always seemed in good health They are going through the same problem your Church is Sad We now attend a Mega Church and there is comfort in numbers Teacher Tammy thanks for the Chocolate chip scones or chocolate rose tea Nice to have a warm up from this drizzly day Well Jane Austen and Mr Darcy have been charming hearts for 200 years huh How cool is that I finished the Lady Emily 7th book a few days ago and now I am reading another Lady Georgianna Her Royal Spyness Series You will have to try this series too by Ryes Bowen They are delightful Judy I wish Fibro was as simple as just food allergies One thing that does happen if you watch what you eat and have fibro it will get rid of your inflamation Which is a huge help But Fibro is also Environmental Emotional Hereditary and related to all the arthritises too I was just sharing with someone today that in the Pacific Northwest we have more Fibro Patients than anywhere else in the Country and especially around the Spokane area where I grew up Well the OHSU Oregon Health and Science University Hospital has the most leading Fibromyalgia Center than anywhere in the World They were curious as to why so many people in this area have Fibromyalgia and when they held their first clinic in Spokane they had more Fibro Sufferers turn out to it than anywhere else in the world To make a long story short they believe that when the Hanford Nuculear Plant let off small doses of radiation to test its affects on the general public back in the 60 s and 70 s that it was a major contributor to why so many people came down with Fibro and cancers in this area Especially Spokane because they were directly downwind from the Nucleur Plant I know that it is true that those experiments happened I just didn t know until I was in my 50 s that our government did that to us So it is way too simple just to say eat healthier and your Fibro will go away My sister was very thin never was over weight her entire life and she had worse Fibro symptoms than I did and worse Rhuematoid arthritis As you know she died at 57 just last year My mom has Fibro and she will be 80 in a couple of months She has had fibro since I was in fourth grade back when they didn t even call it Fibro There is no known cure for it but there are things that can help But just when you think you have it figured out it does something completely different Like most days in sunny weather I feel better but some days even in the sun and warmth I can have a terrible fibro flare When I first got it It was only in my feet and hands Now it is through out my entire body Well I am sure that is more than any of you wanted to know LOL I m off to read attending the Christian Churches Hi Bunny hasn t this weather been nuts One day it s warm and sunny then the next two days rain Hope you got your Tea and at least tried a cup of each even if they aren t your favorite blend I don t even know how to begin telling you what happened to us first thing this morning But we were notified that our Oldest Son and wife were arrested by US Marshals in Medford Oregon This is something that we had known might come to pass but were hoping that The Federal Government would just let it die Their arrest was for selling MMS Miracle Mineral Solution on line I don t know if any of you are familiar with it or not but it is an alternative medicine product that the FDA has never authorized and there lies the rift Many of you are probably aware that the FDA would like to shut down all Alternative Medicine Products because the big Pharma Companys aren t making any money off them So they want every thing regulated from over the counter vitamins and so forth so only the big Pharmacuidicals make the money That is the simplest way I can explain this So anyway two years ago the US Marshalls raided their home took all their computers cell phones money out of their household and anything to do with their on line business and many things that were totally unrelated to the business For two years they have fought hard against what happened to them but the Prosecuting Attornies Office tried to get my husbands son to take a plea bargain of 58 years in prison if they kept his wife out of it so she could raise the kids But they never in all this time got an inditement against him They were never charged with anything just threatened so why would anyone in their right mind take a plea deal for something you hadn t been charged with But now today they were arrested and will be charged finally tomorrow Many Christians have helped them survive the last two years as all of their money was confiscated and their business shut down Very few murderers or rapists or Financial Ponsi Scheme Swindelers ever get that much time for horrible crimes against people It is all so insane and so ludicrous I can t believe it has really come down to them being arrested Anyway don t want to get you all in the middle of my families issues but I would apprecieate prayer for them Their 8 yr old daughter had to be left with her two school teachers who are wonderful Christian People She must be so scared be so confused and upset We have all tried to sheild her from this entire mess so she could have a somewhat normal childhood So we are all heart sick and shocked And all they ever believed is that they were helping people the were not deceiving people And you can go on line today and purchase MMS from a multitude of other suppliers so I don t really get it It is way beyond me PLEASE PRAY blessings peggy Farmgirl 1326 http ladyinredsite blogspot com Leave Your Cares Behind Join Us On The Porch I m only as strong as the caffeine I drink the this They should be paying the legal bills at least Check out a website called www change org It is a way to get thousands of people to sign a petition supporting your son and his wife You tell the story and put it out there There is a good chance you will get thousands of supporters Then present the petition to the attorneys or judge There have been cases of prosecutors and judges minds having been swayed by these petitions If nothing else it puts the word out and brings about awareness Please check it out it might just make the difference you need Praying for them Bunny Farmgirl number the Prosecuting Attorneys took it before the Grand Jury trying to get an indictment They failed at that time But Now going before a new Grand Jury it is like starting all over again and those petitions suddenly don t matter at all There is no legal limitation on how many times they can attempt to get a Grand Jury to rule on these kind of things They can keep trying until all parties are dead if they want to It s crazy scary The main company and the man who invented this product Is now in a foreign country trying to use the product to clean up poluted waters like in Africa and to use it to cure Malaria which it has been proven to do over and over again Our Government would love to arrest him too Janet why should big business like the Pharmacudical Co make all the profit That is called a Monipoly If you want to make your own Home Remedy something you have tried and tested on yourself and then sell it to others with no gaurantees but sharing how it has helped others with full disclosure why should we not be allowed to do so I have bought Farmgirl Homemade Soaps Teas Coffees Salves lip balm etc they have not been approved by the FDA Do we shut down all Cottage Industry It is just NOT right Have heard nothing new today so far It is all a lot to deal with but it is out of Our Control so all I can do is intrust it to the Lord He has allowed it for a reason if nothing else just for another opportunity to Trust Him This is extremely hard on my husband as men don t like to feel helpless and like they cant fix it Hugs peggy Farmgirl 1326 http ladyinredsite blogspot com Medford for the Farm School Opportunity for Sabrielle from Spokane but they had never been arrested or charged with anything So they sent Daniel back to Spokane late today and gave Karis 2 days to decide what to do with Sabrielle from her Jail cell and then Karis will be sent back to Spokane also Also Daniel s Secretary and her husband were arrested today and the husband had nothing to do with the business And The Secretary is the Sweetest person on the Planet That s all I know besides the fact that our phone has not stopped ringing all day with people willing to help financially with
