  • The Feast | MB Mission
other open ended questions about faith and life The event was called The Feast and what made it unique was that the young people were both from local churches and from mosques The idea behind the event is that Christian and Muslim youth come together in a safe atmosphere of respect and vulnerability where they can share their beliefs and exchange ideas The organizers shared their vision When young people can sit together enjoy food laughs and honest and open conversations they are encouraged to overcome their fears and gain the confidence to live well with people of diverse backgrounds Despite the fact that a storm interrupted the gathering that day much was accomplished in the direction of bridge building and establishing a basis for future events After the event we started receiving text messages from some of the youth The best thing was going through the questions because through them we really got to know one another and you could see that we were all really searching after God and the truth Another youth wrote It was great to be able to talk with each other in such a normal way without pressure We are so thankful for this
