they can gain a unique understanding and appreciation for the iconic Pacific Salmon and its habitat The total cost for these trips approaches 25 000 including transportation and substitute teacher expenses as well as the replacement maintenance and replenishment of equipment and gear used on trips Thanks to the generous sponsorship from Eugene Water and Electric Board the amount we still need to raise in order to support each classroom is under 20 000 Please help us reduce that figure even more by making a donation to support your local school s field trips There are several levels of contribution You may choose to sponsor the total cost of a trip 600 or to contribute at one of our regular giving levels You may mail a check or make a secure online donation by clicking on Support Us Regardless of how you contribute your donation is tax deductible and gives you the satisfaction of knowing you helped sustain and improve educational opportunities for your neighborhood schools Our need is great please consider giving today About Jennifer Weber I am the Education Coordinator for the Salmon Stewards of Lane County and McKenzie Watershed Council View all posts by Jennifer Weber Post
