  • 2012 Black & White Gala | MEDALTA
    of the year for Medalta s Education Artistic and Community programming was a complete success The goal of the 2012 Gala was to improve on a very successful first year which showcased Medalta s newly completed restoration and raised nearly 50 000 By the time the evening was over an incredible 63 000 had been raised through ticket sales sponsorships and auctions The generosity of the community was overwhelming The event sold out one month prior community sponsors stepped up in a very big way and everyone in attendance was generous in bidding on some incredible live and silent auction items which had been donated by local and visiting artists community organizations and Medalta supporters Over 60 volunteers made sure the event ran smoothly and all guests had a wonderful time Many of them put in an enormous amount of time and we are so grateful for their support One of the calling cards of the Gala is the decor For that Borrowed Blue Event Design was hired again and charged with creating an elegant atmosphere They certainly didn t disappoint The three course plated dinner and hors d oeuvres during cocktail hour was prepared by Riverside Catering who are fast gaining a reputation for serving excellent food The dinner at this year s Gala was beyond expectations 2012 Gala Sponsors Without our generous sponsors this event would not be nearly as successful as it was Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Gala and our Education Artistic and Community programming 2012 Live Auction Winners For the second straight year the Gala Live Auction was the most exciting part of the night With only six great items not everyone could take one home but a lot of people sure did try Thanks to the winners and everyone who bid
