directors could appoint up to 10 members to create a full Board of Directors to run NCMUG The five elected officers were the President Vice President a Secretary who was assigned membership duties the Newsletter Editor and Treasurer NCMUG has changed The newsletter went away and the newsletter editor resigned from the board almost two years ago leaving an open spot among the elected officers The rules and regulations for keeping track of information to comply with our non profit status require the due diligence of a Recording Secretary The old bylaws called for an appointive officer to take minutes In order to have a full complement of five elected officers the bylaws need to be changed We are proposing to remove any references to a newsletter and newsletter editor and replace the office of Newsletter Editor with a Recording Secretary Given that NCMUG needs to keep accurate records the Recording Secretary has a more important job now than when NCMUG began many years ago The elected officers now would be President Vice President Membership Secretary Recording Secretary and Treasurer Language to be removed is marked in red and new content is highlighted in yellow We will need to vote on the bylaw changes at the January meeting to make them effective for the election of officers in February If you have any questions about the changes please contact one of the board members who will be glad to explain the bylaw changes to you Posted in Announcements Leave a Comment 0 Categories Announcements 41 General Meetings 34 HomePost 33 News 13 Reviews 10 Special Events 4 Special Interest Groups 5 Post Tags accessories Adobe back up Book Review cartridegs case Creativity Dan Frakes Dropbox Elgato Fujitsu Grace Cheung Schulman Human race IDG Internet iOS7 iPad iPads iPhone iPhones iPod
