    Nordic festival for children 2013 2014 Nineteen exciting projects by committed people from all over the Nordic region have been submitted to this year s Nordic children and youth festival Behind each project are organisations from at least three Nordic countries Thus the effort has resulted in more than 60 contacts and co operation between cultural operators across the Nordic borders The Nordic Culture Fund is financing the festival by providing three million Danish kroner Foto iStockphoto com By offering a financial support of several million kroner to this festival the Nordic Cultural Fund would like to promote and invest in cultural collaboration for the benefit of children and young people in order to ensure that new generations should see and keep the spirit of the Nordic cultural co operation Karen Bue Director of the Fund is very pleased that the Fund has attracted so many cultural operators who would like to try their luck Young jury One novelty this time is that the best projects will be evaluated by five young people This is the first time that the Board of the Nordic Culture Fund has appointed an evaluation committee that consists of five young people aged from 18
