    855 451 4193 Grayling Blueberry Akutaq By Janelle Otton 4 Grayling remove scales from fish cut off the head tail belly fins top fin remove guts cut body into thirds boil fish until cooked set aside let cool remove toss outer skin separate fish meat from bones toss bones this step is to remove obvious larger bones removing smaller hard to see bones will be done later hand squeeze fish meat to dehydrate remove majority of water just until there isn t any water dripping set aside finely crumble deboned dehydrated fish meat across a cookie sheet carefully sift through fish meat to remove thin hard to see bones using a cookie sheet is easier to spot the smaller hard to see bones set deboned fish meat aside Akutaq 1 block about 2 cups worth of your preferred animal fat moose reindeer caribou grate fat into bowl drizzle seal oil into grated fat and begin whipping by hand keep drizzling small amounts of seal oil until akutaq is fluffy creamy a 1 2 cup worth if akutaq stays in a thick toothpaste form even after 2 minutes of whipping add more seal oil until creamy fluffy add sugar to akutaq
