    makers and establishing forums for new market opportunities and collaboration Call for Nominations NOMINATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUBMISSIONS It s time once again for OSEA s prestigious Powering Prosperity Awards The awards will recognize excellence innovation and best practices in the sustainable energy sector shining the spotlight on champions whose ideas and actions are advancing Ontario s prosperity and our transition to a more sustainable energy economy Nominations open October 28th 2015 and close on Sunday November 29th 2015 and can be made by following the instructions that can be found here What are the categories 20 20 Leadership award Developer of the year Manufacturer of the year of the year Sustainable Energy Project of the year Aboriginal Project of the year Community Project of the year Who can nominate Anyone who resides or does business in the province of Ontario Selection Process The Powering Prosperity Awards committee will select winners from among the nominees based on the criteria outlined in the award category descriptions and rules Who can be nominated Any person organization or group of people who is or has been involved in a sustainable energy initiative in the province of Ontario relating to the category being nominated for Photo slide show from last years event Important Notice OSEA endeavours to treat every nomination and nominee with the utmost courtesy and respect It is anticipated that only in rare circumstances would nominations or nominees be declined or awards withdrawn However OSEA reserves the right in its sole discretion to make decisions regarding the Powering Prosperity Awards including declining nominations declining any particular nominee or group of nominees withdrawing or cancelling an award category cancelling or postponing the Powering Prosperity Awards This also applies to selected recipients and includes the decision to withdraw an award
