    of innovative policy alternatives for sustainable energy the support of grass roots based community power groups employing the co operative governance model and by advancing the economic case for distributed energy OSEA is pleased to launch a new Tool that will assist both community and commercial developers to obtain additional FIT contract priority points The Community Support Resolution Tool was developed by OSEA in conjunction with the Conference Board of Canada and ClearSky Advisors exclusively for OSEA The Tool establishes the economic impact of renewable energy development on the local economy that s jobs and taxation generated by either wind or solar PV projects in local municipalities The proposed FIT rules award Priority Points towards a FIT contract if the project has received the support of a Municipality in the form of a Municipal Council Support Resolution or it has received the support of an Aboriginal Community in the form of an Aboriginal Community Support Resolution OSEA members can obtain select economic indicators free of charge The Community Support Resolution report incorporates members project economic impact data a free member service with model output appendices a municipal resolution presentation template a glossary of terms model description and an OSEA endorsement
