x ray report of my spine BOO It s really bad I guess you gotta take the bad with the good I asked the vascular surgeon if they could do an ultrasound if my colorectal surgeon decides to move my stoma to the other side and she said Oh we ll work around it Don t worry So I won t I ll let them work it out metal mom likes this Sign in to follow this Followers 1 4 Comments metal mom 13 Posted 1 Aug 2013 Sorry about the spine But 3 cheers on the good news Share this comment
 loisw 376 Posted 1 Aug 2013 Thanks Actually the good news is more important than the bad news if you get what I mean If the aneurysm isn t kept under control it can rupture at any time My doctor told us that there s less than a 10 chance of making it to the hospital alive if it bursts It s like instant death SCARY The spine causes pain but the aneurysm is realllllllly serious It was actually found when I had my first attack of ischemic colitis Lucky me They were doing all sorts of tests and found it by accident The vascular surgeon was measuring it for a few years and then said it could rupture fairly soon so he put in the stent I really don t think much about it any more but every so often I remember how serious it could be and how lucky I am to be alive Share this comment
 Alice 164 Posted 4 Aug 2013 Oh Lois The new is about your aneurysm is great lets hope it keeps shrinking Like you stated it
