    Picker Institute Europe have developed and launched a Health Visitor Service User Experience Survey and toolkit designed specifically to measure the experiences of families who use these services across England Commissioned by NHS England the survey and toolkit are available to health visiting service providers in England to license free of charge 4 February 2016 Capturing the experiences of seldom heard groups providing quality maternity experiences to parents with learning disabilities Supported by NHS England CHANGE and Patient Experience Network PEN worked together in 2015 to provide a feedback platform for parents with learning disabilities with the aim of improving maternity care and experiences for this group of seldom heard service users 14 January 2016 New research exploring how frontline staff use patient experience data for service improvement University of Oxford and Picker Institute Europe are delighted to announce that they have been awarded 786 880 by the National Institute for Health Research to investigate how NHS frontline teams use different types of patient experience data for improvement 13 January 2016 Maternity services are improving but person centred care fundamentals are still being missed particularly in postnatal care Newly published 2015 NHS Maternity Survey results reflect a generally improving service despite continuing challenges around staffing levels and demand the majority of women are reporting positive maternity experiences However effective service user involvement a pillar of person centred care is not always being achieved particularly in terms of postnatal care 15 December 2015 Inpatient survey shows only modest improvements in patient experience The inpatient survey in England shows that over the past nine years trusts have seen only a modest improvement in quality of care as judged by patients says a new report from The King s Fund and Picker Institute Europe 10 December 2015 Debt and Health A Briefing Picker
