  • Run Intermediate School PMSD Academy and Cyber Learning Academics Overview Curriculum Special Education PSSA Keystone Federal Programs Resources SAT Free Test Prep ESL Summer Reading MCTI Colonial IU 20 Employment Professional Staff Openings Support Staff Openings Supplemental Contract Openings Return to Headlines PMSD student teacher recognized for environmental work Pocono Mountain West High School senior Dana Petrosino and Tobyhanna Elementary Center 2nd Grade teacher Eric Argot were recognized by the Monroe County Conservation District at the Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center banquet on April 8 2016 Dana received the 2016 Stanley Becker Environmental Resource Scholarship of 500 The Stanley Becker Environmental Scholarship was established by the Monroe County Conservation District in cooperation with the family of Stanley Becker to recognize an outstanding Monroe County High School student who has chosen to pursue an environmental major at college Mr Becker was a local citizen who valued the natural resources of Monroe County He and his wife Stella have been members of the Monroe County Environmental Education Center since 1980 and have supported its educational efforts at numerous events over the last 36 years According to the Monroe County Conservation District We are always impressed with the quality of applicants who apply for this scholarship In cooperation with the Becker family Dana Petrosino from Pocono Mountain West High School was recognized as this year s recipient The Conservation District Board of Directors and Staff and the Becker family would like to congratulate Dana on receiving this 500 scholarship Dana has been accepted into East Stroudsburg University s Honors Biology program where she plans to major in Marine Sciences She has earned her place on her school distinguished honor roll and the U S Achievement Academy She has also received the Presidents Education Award and the All American Scholar Award Eric Argot earned
