    I think it just shows not only how stubborn and ignorant they are but how frightened they are of a woman with too much Botox in her brow References DON T MESS WITH MAMA BUSH Commented on February 22 2011 at 5 48 am Reply Loony Left John Boehner and his Buddies are on the RIGHT not the Left References Redjr01 Commented on February 22 2011 at 6 13 am Reply Yes I agree completely However just as absurd is the Republicans winning on the promise to cut the deficit on spending cuts only Are they sure they can cut spending on Democratic programs when the Democrats are still the overall majority We are looking at two stupid parties doing battle to solve complex problems I do not see a good outcome I am hoping for gridlock until some party or person with brains can figure out a sensible solution However I do agree that keeping Pelosi as minority leader was very stupid for the Democrats People will vote out house Democrats just to ensure Pelosi doesn t see the speaker of the house position again References tribeca belle Commented on February 22 2011 at 6 36 am Reply That s not what happened The Blue Dogs i e conservative Democrats lost to conservative Republicans If the Democrats could have maintained majority status while getting rid of the conservatives that would have been a good thing Nancy Pelosi has done a great job as Speaker of the House The Republicans are destined to fail because they have no worthwhile ideas and they keep pushing the same failed policies and theories that crashed the economy Having them in charge of the House will be of political benefit to President Obama and the Democrats It won t be good for the country
