    hour 330 for a 3 credit course HOW TO REGISTER Go to USU Distance Education Website http distance usu edu Click on Find a Course which is located on the left side of the page A new page opens where you can enter your zip code Then press Go The Search Courses page opens Under Semester select the semester for which you are registering Under Course Types select online Under Subjects select Comm Disorders and Deaf Education Then press Search A list of available courses will display Select the course number for which you are registering When a new screen appears select Save Course in the right corner of the screen It will add the course to your cart After you have added all of the courses that you would like select View to view your courses A new screen will appear You will see the following options Request Registration Select this option if you have an A number and have taken classes at Utah State University The other option is Non Degree Admission Select this if you do not have an A number If you select the Non Degree Admission options a new screen will appear that will allow you to create a username and a password After you have done that you can Login Fill out all of the information requested and then submit it be sure that you have a valid E mail address because that is how you will be contacted You should then get a message indicating that you have successfully submitted a request for registration and that you need to allow 24 hours for processing If you encounter problems with your registration contact the Regional Campuses and Distance Education office at Utah State University Phone 435 797 2134 After you have successfully submitted your

    consist most centrally of visits to the families in their homes or other natural environments by a professional called a Parent Advisor or Early Interventionist The S E I M program is a graduate program at Utah State University Logan Utah that will prepare you to be a Parent Advisor Early Interventionist of infants and young children with sensory loss Students in the program select one Specialty Area from the three listed below Early Intervention 0 3 Deaf Hard of Hearing Early Intervention 0 3 Deafblind Early Intervention 0 3 Blind Vision Impaired S E I M PROGRAM As a S E I M graduate student you will acquire the necessary information and skills to work in Early Intervention programs and to gain the competencies necessary to meet the state of Utah requirements to be a Parent Advisor You will earn a Master s Degree M Ed from the Department of Communicative Disorders Deaf Education Your program will typically take 3 semesters to complete 36 credit hours If you are interested in early intervention you need to select one of the three Early Intervention Speciality Areas and then contact the appropriate Project S E I M advisor listed below Deaf
