    in many of the committees You may send your information via email volunteering springfieldbucks org or by mail 2320 Township Road Quakertown PA 18951 If you are not familiar with the various committees available they are listed in the Township Directory Medication Return Bin The Springfield Township Police Department has brought in a medicine return bin to accept your unwanted or out of date prescrition drugs Studies show that a majority of abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends including from the home medicine cabinet Disposing of drugs by flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash poses water safety and health hazards Get rid of your old drugs safely The return bin is located in the Township building main meeting room You can drop off your unwanted or out of date prescription drugs during the normal operating hours Monday through Friday 9 00 am to 4 30 pm Seniors Helping Seniors Seniors Helping Seniors in home services is a unique program which matches seniors who want to help with seniors who are looking for help It was founded to provide seniors with the ability to choose an independent lifestyle in their own homes for as long as possible If you need help or if you would like to help download a helpful brochure to learn more Report a Pothole Please click here Springfield Township Roads to view the Springfield Township roads and check which organization is responsible for the road If the road is a State road please click here PennDOT District 6 to submit a Concern which is something that requires PennDOT attention for resolution If the road is a Township road please click here Contact Us to report a pothole on a Township road The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation PennDOT is reminding motorists to call the toll free number 1 800 FIX ROAD 1 800 349 7623 to report the location of potholes Motorists are also encouraged to report other problems and information including signage issues other maintenance needs animal carcass removal on state roads see listing below and brush and tree removal Since its inception in July 1997 the year round hotline has received between 500 and 1 000 calls per month statewide Callers are asked to be as specific as possible when providing locations of maintenance problems PennDOT requests the report include the county municipality street name and the traffic route or the state route SR number to assist Engineering Districts County Maintenance Offices in making prompt repairs State Route numbers are located on small black and white signs posted along state highways Callers should also provide a description of any familiar landmarks to further help PennDOT locate the problem area For dead deer on Township roads call the Game Commission at 610 926 3136 Help Emergency Workers Find Your Home Have you seen those reflective 6 x 18 green signs with white house numbers throughout Springfield and other local townships They help emergency services locate your home in case
