  • Springfield Township - Directions
    Township Road if you pass Springfield Elementary you have gone too far Go approximately 1 4 mile to where Township Road curves sharply to the right The township building is on the right identified in front as Springfield Township Road Maintenance Bldg The parking lot and entrance to the township offices are in the rear of the building FROM DOYLESTOWN Take Route 611 North to Route 412 in the village of Harrow Turn left onto Route 412 North Follow Route 412 North for approximately 4 miles and turn left onto Bursonville Road Follow Bursonville Road West After approximately 2 miles Bursonville Road will turn sharply toward the left and turn into Township Road Go straight on Township Road for approximately another 1 1 2 miles The township building will be on the left hand side just prior to the intersection of Route 212 identified in front as Springfield Township Road Maintenance Bldg The parking lot and entrance to the township offices are in the rear of the building From the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Quakertown Pennsylvania Turnpike to Quakertown Exit Route 663 Turn left toward Quakertown Stay on 663 until you reach the intersection with Route 309 Go straight through the light crossing over Route 309 to Route 313 Proceed on Route 313 through Quakertown After crossing over the railroad tracks turn left at the next traffic light onto Route 212 East Hellertown Road Proceed on Route 212 please note that in the middle of Richlandtown Route 212 turns to the right Proceed on Route 212 toward the Village of Pleasant Valley In Pleasant Valley you will pass the Springfield Elementary School on your right The intersection just past the school to the right is Township Road Turn right onto Township road Go approximately 1 4 mile to where Township Road

    basis and should be able to arrive within a half hour This list must be provided to each emergency agency that may be summoned by the alarm This allows the emergency responder to have someone familiar with the property and or the system available to answer questions and allow access without breaking doors etc These persons should be reasonably close to the alarm s location Audible alarm systems must be silenced within thirty 30 minutes after a designated responsible person has been notified or the system may be equipped with a timing device to automatically silence the alarm within thirty 30 minutes after it is activated This prevents the neighborhoods from being unnecessarily disturbed by malfunctioning or neglected systems Direct dial alarms shall not be connected to an agency s emergency phone number and shall not transmit more than three 3 repeated transmissions of an alarm for the same emergency This is to prevent phone lines from being unnecessarily tied up by a malfunctioning alarm system Installers also have the responsibility of preventing false alarms by providing programs of training periodic inspection and maintenance to their system Now that the obligations of the alarm system users and installers are specifically listed it is sincerely hoped that this agency and other emergency agencies can serve you more efficiently and more safely This is the only goal of the Ordinance Alarm registration can be made by contacting our department so that we may send you the appropriate form and information Or you may click on the icon to the right and print the screen out on your printer After you print it out just drop it off at the police station or mail it to us at 2320 Township Road Quakertown Pennsylvania 18951 Please contact us if you have any questions pertaining

    which should include the following information Your name and address Departure and return dates Emergency Contact Telephone Number where you may be reached in case of emergency while away A Local Contact Name and Telephone Number Someone that might have a key to your residence or that could respond in case of emergency Names of persons authorized by you to be at the residence while you are away Vehicle descriptions vehicles that will remain at the residence while you re away include color year make model and license plate number List of lights that will be on or set on timers If something should arise while you are away we will make notification to you or to the person you designate These house checks should in no way be taken as a fail safe way of ensuring your home is protected from crime Rather this is just a tool which we use to better protect the citizens of this township and their property What we offer is a little more security but we still urge everyone to take the proper precautions to ensure that their property is secured at all times All information received from homeowners will remain CONFIDENTIAL A TIP FOR HOMEOWNERS RESIDENTS Should you ever find yourself a victim of a burglary it is essential to follow these helpful tips Call the Police IMMEDIATELY Prompt reporting is essential Don t touch ANYTHING You could destroy valuable evidence by touching items Do Not Go Into The House If You Can Help It Use a neighbor s telephone to call the Police Keep calm Don t try to investigate the house yourself Be safe and wait for the Police to arrive More can be gained if the scene is not disturbed Your safety is paramount Keep Alert The more you
