  • AT&T Upload Speed Problems Confirmed, Company Says Its Due to Testing
it may be only a matter of waiting for this to be over with before flipping the switch on HSUPA upload speeds In my last post about this I wrote that these negated upload speeds were being experienced on not only the Motorola Atrix 4G but also the HTC Inspire 4G Two USB modems from AT T the USBConnectShockwave 4G and the USBConnectAdrenaline were also facing negated upload speeds In fact both the HTC Incredible and the Motorola Atrix ran significantly slower than the iPhone 4 in terms of upload speeds which should not have been happening Either way it is good to get a final reasoning and a confession from AT T Some had originally suspected that AT T was trying to promote the iPhone 4 but that appeared to all be talk Source Engadget AT T says it s testing HSUPA on Atrix 4G will turn it on eventually Projector Rentals Are Great for Business Meetings Most business class projectors will do a good job displaying your PowerPoint presentation If you have a small presentation group a 2000 lumen LCD projector will be able to produce a nice and clear picture For larger audiences you should consider a 5000 lumen LCD projector If you enjoyed this post please consider leaving a comment or subscribing to the RSS feed to have future articles delivered to your feed reader This entry was posted in Uncategorized and tagged AT T AT T capping upload speeds HTC HTC Incredible 4G Motorola Motorola Atrix 4G Bookmark the permalink Post a comment or leave a trackback Trackback URL New iPad 2 Rumors Say SD Card Slot and Higher Resolution Not Coming Aircell Smartphone is World s First Inflight Android Smartphone One Trackback By E bike on November 12 2011 at 8 33 pm Trackback Find More Informations here blog tech army org 2011 03 12 att upload speed problems confirmed company says its due to testing Post a Comment Cancel reply Your email is never published nor shared Required fields are marked Name Email Website Comment You may use these HTML tags and attributes a href title abbr title acronym title b blockquote cite cite code del datetime em i q cite s strike strong Tech Army Organization on Twitter Guest Blogging Opportunities Subscribe in a reader Subscribe to The Tech Army Blog by Email Tech Army Lead Generators Camera Security Now Computer Service Now Rentacomputer com The Tech Army Means Business for your SMB We re looking for a few good techs to work with in your area Only the best need apply If you or your company operates in the computer industry the CCTV or IP security camera industry av computer rental industry homebuilders industry or you are an independent contractor tradesman or other technology expert There is no cost to join but you do have to be approved Search Recent Posts The Tech Army Proudly Welcomes Geremy and Security Managed Apple Is Releasing A Watch But Not The iWatch Apple Will

  • Mozilla’s Home Dash
icons below the search box Home Dash is a restart free add on which means you will not have to close the browser in order to get it working It also only works in Firefox 4 betas 9 and 10 In order to return to the default interface you have to go into your add ons panel and disable it The developers plan on including a hot key toggle in version 2 in order to jump quickly between the two looks There are also a number of hot key combos that are there to minimize the mouse work in the menu When your dash is closed the hot keys function as they normally do Ctrl L will bring up your location bar Ctrl T opens a new tab and Ctrl K opens your default search engine in the current tab All of these also open the Dash as well When the Dash is open Ctrl L will paste the current URL into the search box if it is empty or select the current text in the search box Ctrl T toggles whether or not the selected page opens in the current tab or a new tab and Ctrl K activates the default search and then cycles through the search engines Mozilla has created quite a lengthy list of shortcuts for the add on including some keys that are double mapped allowing you to use either your left or right hand The add on is still in Beta form so do not be surprised if you experience a few problems with crashing or the rendering of thumbnails for the Dash Follow the link to get the download for Home Dash now Source cnet Download com A Copier Rental is a quick way to mass produce important documents for potential customers at an event or conference Renting office equipment is simple and easy and it can also save you loads of time and money Rentacomputer com has been offering copier rentals to more than 1000 cities worldwide for over 20 years If you enjoyed this post please consider leaving a comment or subscribing to the RSS feed to have future articles delivered to your feed reader This entry was posted in Uncategorized and tagged Mozilla Mozilla Firefox Mozilla Firefox 4 Mozilla Home Dash Mozilla Prospector Project Bookmark the permalink Post a comment or leave a trackback Trackback URL Wireless Networks The New Norm in Business Dell Unveils their Windows 7 Tablet One Trackback By Featured Tech Army Blog Xponex Media on February 6 2011 at 8 48 pm Mozilla s Home Dash Post a Comment Cancel reply Your email is never published nor shared Required fields are marked Name Email Website Comment You may use these HTML tags and attributes a href title abbr title acronym title b blockquote cite cite code del datetime em i q cite s strike strong Tech Army Organization on Twitter Guest Blogging Opportunities Subscribe in a reader Subscribe to The Tech Army Blog by Email Tech

  • Wireless Networks: The New Norm in Business
A site survey will also help you get an idea of how many access points you will need for budget purposes The number of access points you will need is not entirely decided by coverage area Other significant factors that will affect how many access points you require include What type of traffic will you be transferring if you need to support streaming video and audio if you are going to be running real time applications and if you are running database applications Every access point has limits which differ based on the type of security encryption you are using as to how many clients can connect simultaneously Some support as few as 10 connections while others support as many as 50 connections per access point It is critical that you provide a sufficient number of access points to adequately cover your intended area or you will have poor or even unreliable performance If you are going to do the install yourself make sure you have a decent understand of the 802 11 specification that the access points communicate with Specifically you need to understand that they communicate on the 2 4 GHz spectrum and can interfere with other devices such as phones or radios that may be in the vicinity on that frequency Multiple access points in the same coverage area will not boost performance but will increase the number of concurrently supported connections and can be a source of redundancy if an access point fails Although there is a limit as too many access points in a small area may cause interference with each other The SSID or Service Set IDentifier distinguishes each wireless area network from the other More sophisticated access points will allow the cooperative use of a single SSID throughout the entire business giving a more uniform and user friendly experience because it will automatically switch from access point to access point as a user moves from one coverage area to the next About the Author Josh Van Cleave is a network engineer that has been in the computer industry since 1994 He works for Computer Service Now providing support for their networking clients and internal LAN Josh s certifications include CNE MCSE CCEA MCITP SA MCITP EA A and Net SMBnow com is news of for and by SMBs SMBnow com The Small Medium Business Magazine If you enjoyed this post please consider leaving a comment or subscribing to the RSS feed to have future articles delivered to your feed reader This entry was posted in Computer Service Engineers network engineer Network Maintenance Network Service and tagged Network Service wireless Bookmark the permalink Post a comment or leave a trackback Trackback URL Intel Earnings Jump 48 Mozilla s Home Dash One Trackback By Featured Tech Army Blog Xponex Media on February 6 2011 at 8 49 pm Wireless Networks The New Norm in Business Post a Comment Cancel reply Your email is never published nor shared Required fields are marked Name Email Website Comment
