  • A long walk for two harvests: BC report 12/10/2013 | Telemark Phat
Ck and the direct lines off Tenison Woods Knoll looked like they d finish before Watson s Ck so we skied the line furthest to the West Due to the cool breeze we had stunning corn and a long enough line to get the legs burning After a lunch stop we booted back up to Twynam South and had a quick run en route to Glissade Gully For the first time I got to ski towards water rather than ice since Blue Lake has started to thaw The corn on the top of Glissade Gully was suprisingly thick and sloughed easily but the rest of the run was once again perfect corn I lost a pole on the return crossing of the Snowy and ended up with wet feet tight buckling only goes so far Mt Clarke Blue Lake Kunama Bowl The long walk North Ramshead Etheridge and Kosci Townsend and the Abbotts Tenison Woods Knoll The Long walk is almost finished A view for a slash The view down Watson s Ck At our destination Tony dropping in Tony at the bottom of the first face Three turns in I am just lovin this corn harvest It carved so very well A great view for lunch Tony had first duties in stair kicking Then I had a go Tony finished off the job Our turns down the face The view west from Tenison Woods Knoll If you look closely you can see our lines Tony skiing down from Twynam South My turns Blue Lake The top and bottom of my run down Glissade Gully Tony After 15k travelled and 2000m vertical Tony and I had another brilliant day on the snow Report NSW BC Add new comment Your name E mail The content of this field is kept private
