    and Human Resources a Volunteer Services Coordinator and 2 Greeters She chairs the Reward and Recognition committee at the hospital whose activities recently received national recognition Sue s involvement with the Peacemaker Program began when several of her friends began designing tables for Come to the Table Sue has been designing tables herself for the past 3 years and in 2008 she joined the Come to The Table committee to chair the Preview Gala In 2009 and 2010 Sue has served as the chairperson of the event In the past Sue served for several years on the board of the YWCA where she helped to coordinate events like Salute for Outstanding Women Currently she is a member of the New York State Director s of Volunteer Services NYSADVS where she has held several offices at the state and local board level Beverly Quist Print Email Co Board Secretary ad interim Beverly Quist is an active member of our community Bev had retired from Mohawk Valley Community College where she was a professor of criminal justice In addition to her service on The Peacemaker Program Board of Directors she has served on the Boards of the YWCA of the Mohawk Valley GroWest the League of Women Voters of Utica Rome the Criminal Justice Educators Association of New York State the New York State Coalition Against Sexual Assault and the Justice Studies Association She is a recognized leader in her field with awards that include the State University of New York Chancellor s Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Mohawk Valley Community College Make a Difference Award George Murad Esq Print Email George Murad has been practicing law for 30 years since 1978 He co runs Murad Murad a general practice firm with emphasis on Matrimonial and Family Court Law He has been involved with The Peacemaker Program Inc since its inception George is a member of the NY State Bar Association Oneida County Bar Association NYS Family Law Section NYS Matrimonial Law Section Oneida County Bar Association Family and Matrimonial Law Committee and a founding member and attorney participant in the Oneida County Family Treatment Court He graduated from Notre Dame High School in Utica NY LeMoyne College in Syracuse NY and Howard University Law School in Washington D C In addition to his involvement in the Peacemaker Program George is a member of the Knights of Columbus He is proudly married to Luann Horton Murad and has one son William John Russo Print Email John Russo has dedicated his personal and professional life to helping others achieve positive outcomes Retiring from his position as Executive Director of The Community Food Bank he is a former Utica City Firefighter He remains involved by volunteering at Faxton St Luke s Healthcare as an advocate in the fight against cancer and John is a member of the Board of Directors of the Denti Foundation He attended Mohawk Valley Community College and Empire State College In addition to being a member of The
