    Travis Audubon Online Store Contact Us CALENDAR All Events FIELD TRIP Two hour Tuesday at Big Webberville Park led by Ken Zaslow and Jane Tillman May 24 7 00 am 9 00 am Event Navigation Owl Workshop with Scott Rashid Baker Sanctuary Saturday Hikes We will visit this park on the Colorado River looking for nesting birds including several eastern species that are not normally seen in Austin Directions From the intersection of Hwy 183 and FM 969 take FM 969 east 9 miles to the town of Webberville approximately 20 30 minutes from downtown Austin Three miles past the town of Webberville turn right onto Webberwood Drive and proceed to Park Lane the first street on your right Turn right and proceed to the park entrance We will meet in the parking area near the rest rooms close to the Colorado River Depending on the birding we may stay longer so bring water and some snacks NOTE The sign for Webberville Park as you enter the town of Webberville is for Little Webberville Park which is a different park than the one described above Limited to 16 people Contact Ken Zaslow at khz att net to register Google Calendar

    00 am Event Navigation Baker Sanctuary Saturday Hikes FIELD TRIP Beginner s Birdwalk at Zilker Botanical Garden We will bird this relatively new 273 acre multi use park located at 18667 Blake Manor Road in eastern Travis County just southeast of Manor It offers several habitats including some ponds so birding there in the Spring should be interesting No registration required Directions If coming from the North From I 35 go east on US 290 Turn right at the first light past Riata Ford and go south This road becomes 973 in town Cross the railroad tracks and then turn left in two blocks onto Blake Manor Road Stay on Blake Manor Road for approximately 3 5 miles to the Park Entrance on the right After turning into the entrance go past the swimming pool and continue down the hill Park near the restrooms If coming from the South At the intersection of Toll Road 130 and FM 969 take FM 969 East for 4 7 miles to Burleson Manor Road Turn left on Burleson Manor Road for 2 4 miles to Blake Manor Road Turn left on Blake Manor Road for 0 5 mile and then turn left into
