USA and MB church planting on Giving Tuesday says Don Morris director of Mission USA Your donations really will help as we plant churches together It is a partnership Morris hopes to begin the process of planting at least four new churches in 2016 which begins with identifying and assessing church planters These funds will mean we can get to work immediately to work with prospective planters for projects he says Mission USA does not beat the bushes for church planters Morris says Instead we rely on God calling out gifted leaders and making them known to us I do have two or three prospective planters that I am in contact with already but I d like to have more in the pipeline Donations on Giving Tuesday were about 20 000 short of the 60 000 goal so Morris is asking for additional donations for church planting before the end of the year Raising an additional 20 000 is an important goal for us and will allow us to have the needed funds going into 2016 he says So even though Giving Tuesday is over there are other means by which to partner with Mission USA To make a year end gift to Mission USA visit the website or mail a check to 7348 W 21 st Suite 115 Wichita KS 67205 Leave a comment Comment Name E mail Post 0 Comments Gifts still needed for 2016 church planting Tuesday Dec 15 2015 Mission USA news story While Giving Tuesday raised nearly 40 000 for Mission USA church planting more funds are needed to plant Mennonite Brethren churches in 2016 Donations for the one day Giving Tuesday campaign on Dec 1 totaled 39 655 including 20 000 in matching funds I want to thank all of those who gave to

impact for His Kingdom It seems to me that God has poured out His favor upon our conference of churches to be an integral part of His plan to reach the lost in America Many of our existing churches are experiencing dynamic outreach in their communities and church plants fervently add to that mission On this one day we can all join together to raise a significant amount of Kingdom resources It was fun last year to watch online as the fund total wheel increased That total will be updated every hour during the day this year as well It can be a lot of fun knowing that together we re truly making a difference and that all of these funds will be used to plant churches not for administration Already generous donors have contributed matching funds so that the first 17 500 in donations will be doubled So please help by promoting Giving Tuesday with us You can show videos to your congregation or print graphics and bulletin announcements from our website To give to Mission USA s Giving Tuesday campaign just go to www usmb org GivingTuesday and hit the donation tab on Dec 1 Don Morris is director of Mission USA and interim USMB executive director To read the most recent church planting news from Mission USA click here Leave a comment Comment Name E mail Post 0 Comments Giving Tuesday is almost here Wednesday Nov 18 2015 By Don Morris Last year on Giving Tuesday we raised over 50 000 together Those funds went directly toward planting five new USMB churches in 2015 Giving Tuesday this year is on Dec 1 and we re praying to raise even more funds for church planting than we did last year These funds are so important as we start
