    the Nor Am series as a part of the qualification criteria for the U19 National Championship selections U19 athletes may participate in the Rocky Central FIS series as a part of the qualification criteria for the U19 National Championship selections U19 athletes may participate in the Central Division Mid Am series as a part of the qualification criteria for the U19 National Championship selections U19 and U21 Central athletes have a Rocky Central Jr FIS Championship at Lutsen Mn in March U16 U16 For the 2015 16 season YOB 2000 2001 U16 athletes are under 16 years old as of January 1st of the competition season U16 athletes may compete in USSA scored and non scored events The Rocky Central U16 Jr Championships will be held in Vail CO U14 U14 For the 2015 16 season YOB 2002 2003 U14 athletes are under 14 years old as of January 1st of the competition season U14 athletes compete in USSA non scored events The Rocky Central U14 Jr Championships will be held in Winter Park Colorado U12 U12 For the 2015 16 season YOB 2004 2005 U12 athletes are under 12 years old as of January 1st of the competition season U12 athletes compete in USSA non scored events The Central Division Region 2 hosts a Finale for this age class in March at Ski Brule U10 and younger U10 For the 2015 16 season YOB 2006 2007 U10 athletes are under 10 years old as of January 1st of the competition season U10 athletes compete in USSA non scored events Central Division Region 2 hosts a Finale for U10 and U8 age classes in March at Ski Brule U8 For the 2015 16 season YOB 2007 U8 athletes and younger compete in USSA non scored events Alpine Programs Popular Content

    If a tie still exists the next best result would be used and this process will continue until the tie is broken Using the overall ranking list after purging the top three athletes from each YOB the next five athletes from both YOBs combined will be selected Ties will be broken by using the single best result If a tie still exists the next best result would be used and this process will continue until the tie is broken Ski up athletes will not be included in this selection they will be considered with the youngest YOB athletes There are discretion spots available if needed Request for discretion spots must come from the regional managers and coaches to the National Development Director U14 athletes The top five second YOB athletes at the Regional U14 Junior Championships on the overall ranking list will be selected Athletes will not be purged Ties will be broken by using the single best result If a tie still exists the next best result would be used and this process will continue until the tie is broken Overall will be determined using the SG Combined two runs of GS Combined two runs of SL at the Regional Championships The best two of the three results will determine the overall ranking list RockyCentral RC Selections to CAN AMs Western U16 CAN AMs Rocky Central will not participate in the Western Can Am for the 2016 year as the dates conflict with the RC Regional Junior Championships Rocky Central may send a team to the Eastern Can Am Mont Tremblant March 26 29 2016 Rocky Central quota for the Western Can Am is 5 men and 5 women Selection The U16 National Overal Ranking list will be utilized for this selection An athlete who has qualified for U16 Nationals is not eligible to attend a U16 Can Am Athletes qualified for the U16 Nationals will be purged from the Overall Ranking list Selections for the Can Am will continue down the Overall Ranking list with the first non U16 National Qualified athletes Ties will be broken by the U16 National method Athletes are seeded by their ranking order Eastern U14 CAN AMs March 25 28 2016 Sugarloaf Rocky Central quota for the event is 5 men and 5 women RC U14 CAN AM Selections Click on the Can Am Tabs CAN AM Race Announcement Selection Athletes will be selected by using an ITS in the following order of the two one run Slalom s and two one run Giant Slaloms Athletes attending the U16 National Championships will be included in the ITS and purged from the final ranking list as they are not eligible to attend both the Eastern U14 CAN AM and U16 National Championships Athletes are seeded by their ranking order Ski up athletes are not eligible to attend out of country events as they are not age eligible Any U14 Foreign Competitor who is a Full Time member of a USSA Rocky Central Club may qualify for the U14 Eastern CanAm The foreign athlete must qualify by the same qualification criteria that a U14 in the USSA Rocky Central Region as long as the USSA Rocky Central Region also names a team to the Eastern CanAm The Foreign Athlete will be an additional competitor in the CanAm and not take a USSA Region quota spot The Region will purge the foreign athlete from the list of qualified Regional competitors to fill their quota A letter from the Regional Manager will be submitted to the CanAm ROC USSA Eastern Manager and Canadian Eastern Manager confirming that the foreign athlete has met objective criteria through the Regional qualification The Foreign athlete will be seeded based on his her location on the Regional qualification list US Nationals Selections US Nationals Sun Valley Idaho March 22 27 2016 Central has a quota of 3 men and 2 women to this event Central Team Selections Selections will be done utilizing the FIS list 9 valid Feb 18 2016 These selections will be done by March 1 Three 3 men and two 2 women will be selected using the NTSM on three columns The NTSM is explained in the USSA Competition guide The first column will contain the athletes FIS slalom points must have participated in a Central Division Mid Am from the current season The 2nd column will contain the athlete s current FIS GS points The last column will be the athlete s current FIS points in SG or DH only used with athletes below 100 national speed FIS rank Individual event points will be used for the rank in either SG or DH whichever is better Start Rights In order to start in the super G Central athletes must have a minimum of two FIS super G starts during the current season and have FIS points lower than 150 for women and 125 for men on the current FIS points list In order to start in the slalom and or GS Central athletes must have a minimum of 2 FIS starts per event and FIS points lower than 70 00 for men and lower than 80 00 for women in one of these events In order to start in the downhill central athletes must have a minimum of two FIS downhill starts during the current season and have FIS points lower than 175 for women and 150 for men on the current FIS points list 2016 Central Division USN Selections Rocky Central U18 U21 JR FIS Championship Selections 2016 Rocky Central Jr FIS Championship at Lutsen Mn March 10 13 2016 Fact Sheet The central quota
