    Winter Weekend was 340 89 Eileen M also shared that the Mardi Gras party was unfortunately cancelled due to low attendance but the 175 DJ deposit is guaranteed to be held for one year Christine Salgueiro reported that the St Patrick s Party scheduled for March 12 at the MCH is a go Fall Festival Vinny Settepani reported all has been set up but the committee is unsure if contracts have been signed Due to a lack of chairperson the Egg Hunt is temporarily cancelled Eileen M reported that a Thank You Letter had been written to the committee from the Office staff for a lovely annual Christmas luncheon New Business Chuck M emailed an update on the Kentucky Derby event It is set for Saturday May 7 2016 at 6pm at the MCH Tickets are 20 per person The Derby race will be viewed at 6 30pm and followed by 7 simulated races beginning at 7 30pm There will be prizes for the best decorated hat for the ladies and the best dressed gentleman Chuck requested an increase in budget for 455 but this cannot be approved as there are not enough members present The information was shared with Dan B who will report at the Board Meeting next weekend Jeanine S reported on Memorial Day Weekend Diane C reported that there will be a Brunch on May 28th Kathy S will chair an Open Mic Night on May 28 2016 Set up will begin at 6pm and the show runs from 7 to 9pm This is not a talent show rather to showcase community members musicianship Interested parties can contact Kathy S and sign up in the office for an approximate time slot Christine S reported that there will be a Family Friendly Scavenger Hunt on May 29th

    Diane C and Eileen M said they would take his request for a refund under advisement discuss with absent tri chair Jeanine Salgueiro and give Tony a decision mid week Tony can submit his paperwork Superbowl Frank C reported that preparation is moving along Diane contacted Terry Cucciniello regarding bonfire for Winter Wacky Weekend Terry C chairing Past bonfires have always been held on Saturdays As a result weekend schedule will change to have Bonfire Saturday evening Bingo Sunday evening Ice Cream Social Saturday at Main Clubhouse New schedule for Saturday February 13 will be Sled Building at Beaver Lodge 11 00 a m 2 00 p m Ice Cream Social at MCH 5 00 p m 7 00 p m Bonfire Skating at Deer Beach 7 30 Sunday s schedule Brunch at MCH 10 00 a m 1 00 p m Sled Racing at Rockledge 2 00 p m Family Bingo at MCH 7 00 p m Mardi Gras will be February 27 at MCH at 7 00 p m Cynthia Dennis is chair St Patrick s Day Christine Salgueiro has booked DJ Flyers with details will be posted by the end of this week New Business Diane C recommended that there be a co chair for events with a budget over 2 000 00 Diane Mula made motion that this policy be implemented seconded by Peggy Kostyshyn There was some discussion after which motion was approved Egg hunt still needs chair Nikki Ligeris brought committee up to date with plans she has for Fall Festival October 8 and 9 2016 She has hired Take 3 for DJ and plans to contract Send In the Clowns for amusements She has yet to contract petting zoo She plans to have events both days Letters for Tricky Tray have been sent Eileen asked that Nikki obtain copy of amusement company s insurance for John Carney s review prior to signing contract Nikki outlined proposed expenses and asked committee for additional money Chuck M made a motion that budget for Fall Festival be increased to 10 000 00 Dianne K seconded motion approved As a result of change made to guidelines Nikki will need a co chair She also needs volunteers for event and will give Kathy Sollenne letter to post on WLE s Facebook page The next Recreation Committee meeting is scheduled for February 13 and conflicts with the Winter Wacky Weekend Diane C and Eileen M requested that we change our next meeting to February 6 All members present were in agreement to change date Dianne Kitchell brought three items to the table for discussion The first was contracting Billy D DJ used on various events during year and New Year s Eve for events on annual basis and obtaining a discount She will follow up with him for exact proposal and report back to committee She wanted opinions on lowering Bingo prices for families children Lastly she asked how a spur of the moment event might be held Chairperson

    for Bonfire Diane Kitchell has Bingo under control Diane reminded all of Mardi Gras February 27 Tickets will be 15 per person event chaired by Cynthia St Patrick s Party is scheduled for March 12 at MCH Tickets will be 20 per person for DJ dinner and dessert Chair is Christine Salgueiro Fall Festival Nikki reported on her progress Tony Schwab asked for tri chair decision on refunds for an event The decision was that no refunds will be made The tri chairs were in agreement as to no refunds based on the fact that they did not feel the reasons for the requested refunds were deemed medical emergencies as stated in the guidelines Answer was accepted without discussion New Business Diane C read detail on Family Scavenger Hunt tentatively scheduled for April or May Christine Salgueiro proposed Bruce Phillips reported that he met with tri chairs and refined 2016 budget to show receipts and to ultimately balance Basically all padding removed also reduced Fall Festival to a budget of 8 000 00 This adjusted budget was presented to the WLE Board of Directors Vinny Settepani reported he had not heard from Michele Gorman with regards to a summer event Dinner Show and was unsure about what was happening with this He also mentioned about an additional event with Tony Lou something with music not sure Diane C asked him if he would mind if we tabled this until the next meeting as she believed Jeanine Salgueiro has been in touch with Tony Lou productions and possibly Michele G Vinny was fine with holding off until the next meeting A motion was made by Carol Miller and seconded by Diane Mula to table this discussion until next month s meeting when Jeanine will be present Egg Hunt has no chairperson

    were Italian Ice and fried oreo cookies Eileen McGregor thanked everyone who volunteered for a great picnic Terry Cucciniello reported that Music in the Park is good to go P eggy Kostyshyn said that all is set for July25th 2015 The DJ is hired and he does the games at the tables and on the stage They will have sandwiches and salads and BYOB The doors open at 6PM and the show starts at 8PM Tickets are 18 00 per person Terry Cucciniello Texas Hold em was last night There was a profit of 66 00 The next one is August 7th 2015 at the Adult Lodge The doors open at 7PM and play starts at 7 30PM Flea Market Bree Della Bella has 35 tables so far and the rain date is Sunday July 19th 2015 Swim Team Rachele Harmuth reported that their banquet will be on August 1st 2015 The Swim Team meets are July 16 21 at 6PM and July23rd at 9AM Mohegan Sun The date is August 19th 2015 there are two buses with a few seats left Family Bingo Dianne Kitchell said there were 116 people attending They had a problem with the computer They had to do it on the screen they need a computer w hdmi Chuck Miller said the Bingo sign will be going up The doors open a 6PM selling starts at 6 30PM and Bingo starts at 7PM Gift Shop Terry Vetter has enough stock and does not need anymore The shop will close on the Columbus weekend She would like to make it known that parking is only for people who are shopping Fishing Derby August 15th 2015 Terry and Al Cucciniello will have a class from 9 30AM to 10AM and fishing from 10 30AM to 11 00AM
