    games so there is something for everyone and if there isn t bring it in and we will gladly give it a go We hold a variety of events These include going out to tournaments and pre release events together holding our own tournaments hosting How To Play days to get people trying different card games and meeting up socially for shopping trips around local card shops We also play a few different Japanese language card games They are a lot of fun and we have created translation notes to help non speaking players We will also be having teaching days to get as many people as possible enjoying them along with us We are an easy going group of people and are always looking for new members regardless of whether you re new to cards or a seasoned veteran so if you are even remotely interested in joining please pop along to one of our meetings for a taster All are welcome We have our own society run forums Please take a look we can be found here We have regular club meetups that are currently Wednesday in MC413 from 5 00pm Updated 05 02 2016 Like us on

    Meetings will be 25 th November 2015 and 23 rd March 2016 There will also be an away day taking place at Telford Campus on 23 rd October 2015 The Board will look for attendance at all of these meetings from the student governors A few words from one of the current Governors The Board of Governors is responsible for the oversight of the University s activities the effective and efficient use of resources and the safeguarding of assets It provides scrutiny of these activities and is the final sign off point for approval You will have the opportunity to express the voice of students at the most influential board of the University Being a member of the Board of Governors has given me an insight into the business of a University and has allowed me to provide the voice that asks is this what students really want It has given me experience that I may not have had the opportunity to gain anywhere else and has been invaluable in informing the work that the Students Union does It has been invaluable to the University also to have the student input It has also allowed me to build external networks separate of the University as members of the board are from the outside world who provide a wealth of experience and knowledge Being a governor has helped to boost my employability skills in particular in strategic planning strategic oversight and reporting writing etc It has also helped developed my personal attributes in diplomacy tact and professionalism If you would like to become a Governor we are using our MSL elections system with anyone interested needing to complete a short 100 word passage of why they would like to be a Governor Once the deadline has passed there will be an
